    Waaahhhh tears seem to come so easily to me these days ! My daughter and I saw Jeff skate to For Forever at CiONTU (the first one on the 13th) - she had been sulking before Jeff came on and she magically cheered up on hearing this song (and tbh who wouldn't cheer up watching Jeff skate with his beautiful smiles and positivity??) so the music does something to me, the nostalgia I suppose, and then seeing them skating together like this, and Yuzuru's beautiful skating that we are missing so much.....I hope Jeff is choreographing Yuzuru's next short, together they have genius level plus some - thanks for posting!

    As we have said before on here, Yuzuru has excellent timing and an amazing strategic brain - he is also a trailblazer - courageous, thorough, thoughtful - a leader in his sport on so many levels. Really, governing body should be making these types of statements re health of athletes, coaches, audiences, spreading of infection, long term health risks associated with contracting Covid... (maybe they will now??) Wonder if/how this news will affect Worlds (all event) tickets cost and sales....

    It's so typical of Yuzuru to determine the timing of letting the world know when and how he has graduated - he must have been on the phone quick when Waseda called him an alumni!! THIS timing is marvellous, we cant watch in awe as he skates at the moment, but we CAN marvel at his dedication to figure skating and his evident intellect and his motivation to use this time usefully both for himself and potentially for his beloved sport too. And in addition, we are all cheered, and so proud of him

    One of Yuzuru’s many appealing characterIstics is that he himself recognises and acknowledges his flaws - I’m sure he has said he can be selfish and needs to take more responsibility and grow up ... see, he even manages to charm when speaking of his (perceived) shortcomings

    He said he doesn’t use any skin product, but also said Sekkisei had a nice smell, so he has at least sniffed it, which is enough for loads of us to go out and buy it ! The power he has!! (sorry don’t know link)

    Have people seen this speculation about Beijing 2022....and what may happen as a result of worsening relations between USA and China? Very interesting...... From theGuardian.com: Beijing Winter Games could be cancelled if Tokyo Games don't happen in 2021 If the postponed Tokyo Olympics do not go ahead next year due to Covid-19 then the 2022 Beijing Winter Games is also likely to be cancelled, according to long-time International Olympic Committee member Dick Pound. Reuters reports: The Beijing Winter Olympics are scheduled for Feb. 4 to 20, 2022, just six months after the Tokyo Summer Games, which are now set to be held from July 23 to Aug. 8, 2021 after being pushed back a year. Pound, a Canadian lawyer who has served as both an IOC vice-president and head of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), also speculated on a range of scenarios, including one where a threat to the Beijing Games is not so much a U.S. boycott, but one where China might consider barring the U.S. from taking part if the country cannot gain control over the virus.

    "I think what Hanyu lacks is (romantic) love" Waaaaaaa!! Yuzu deserves the joy (and pain - there is no Spring without Winter) of romantic love! I'm such a sap..... I know the details of Yuzuru's private life is none of my business, and this is probably not universally true, but I do think there might be some validity to the view that without experiencing the depth of shared emotion characteristic of romantic love, an artist could be somewhat limited in the full expression of the range of human emotion (please discuss lol). Maybe Yuzuru will have even more to give his adoring fans and supporters through his performances if/when he takes the risk of falling in love......we know how Yuzuru hates to be constrained by limits/limitations, and strives to go beyond them! Anything for the benefit of his skating of course! It will be interesting to see what Tsuzuki and Naoko Utsunomiya say about the matter in due course! Note: this is a lighthearted musing only; I am certainly not suggesting what Yuzuru should or shouldn't do

    He definitely has a monochrome aesthetic at the moment! Black clothes (and hair) and the White Wall. I missed the White Corner today.....maybe he'll return to it for the next video?

    Can't wait - 10 minutes to go!!! Wont be able to see it all as I have to go pick up my teen up from a socially-distanced-outdoor-picnic-birthday-celebration! (didn't the birthday girl realise that there was a Yuzu streaming party today??!! But I'll be around for most of it! Hope I can catch up on what I miss! EDIT: I missed LGC!!! I can only imagine the comments on the chat....

    The material is very s-t-r-e-t-c-h-y so I understand....I saw blue PW costume at the exhibition in Tokyo after Pyeongchang and it looked sooooo tiny, but he wore it well last October at SCI with his more muscular form. (I know that’s from age 19 but honestly it looked like a child’s costume in its unstretched state). I guess we will never find out if this costume fits 25yr old Yuzu, it’s a shame

    Shizuka did a great job interviewing - so relaxed/informal/warm/interesting questions and comments, and Yuzuru responded in kind. You can feel their admiration for one another, I loved she kept telling him we just want him healthy and happy and just to see him skate; all true ♥️

    What a great idea!! Yuzu could just keep wearing this amazing costume for one of his programmes each season he competes, and just change the colour!! I love the red one!!
