ITA, Kaeryth. It's so true. With both Chopin and Seimei, he's achieved incredible marks with great GOEs etc... with doing them again, with upped content and fresher and (most likely) better steps, they can't exactly mark him lower. And being willing to take on the challenge of improving upon the current benchmarks of perfection in the men's field? very confident, the bb is.

whoops, read it wrong hte first time... he'd probably land it next time...

I so love the fact that no one else can (potentially, if that is indeed the layout) put 2 3As as the last 2 jumps in the program, LOL. Others can only dream about that....

OK, so cool news. No big surprise considering the news he was at the shrine, how he said he could do a clean Seimei, etc., and the fact he didn't deliver it perfectly at World's... I always felt he must be disappointed he couldn't show off his masterpiece properly in Boston... So, David was in the interview group because of exhibition news? I am too lazy to go through and see what has been written about that... Can hardly wait to see the new improved 2.0... I just finished watching Seimei at GPF and thought, wow, he is so much better than that now!! So, I expect something very different, but still the same, ya know? and I want to see the exact Chopin too, errrr 3.0, , for that matter...the final, decisive, choreography.

What a good thing to be healthy... compare year's condition to this year's condition... what a difference a year makes... makes you believe that everything that happened then was for a reason...ie.train smarter, not necessarily more... pace yourself .... etc..

I was not expecting a full run through by any means, but music will be nice. Just music....and i be happy.

The jumpoo IS when yuzu throws pooh up like a pairs skater, Pooh rotates and then lands...similar to split 4twist...
-
5 quads no surprise, considering what he was trying at wtt...it is which 5 quads!! Hoping he has lutz, but thinking 1 less axel in reality.... leaving space for yolo axel if need be, lol.

Would he really go back to japan for 2weeks knowing his free program is unfinished? Leaving only september....not like him....unless hechangedhis mind...
-
Programs? But we know it is Chopin again.... meaning we need only free program info!!! The exhibition, while important, can wait, imho...

Then notte stellata is the short!!!

Hmmm, maybe you're onto somethingt There....
-
Wow. He seems a little bit popular. Wonder why???

For me IT IS what do i eat for supper? Something extra good?
-
So, if nothing gets leaked beforehand, we have just over 4 hours to wait... assuming the first scheduled tv show is the first we hear anything.....
-
Aww, the morning news is perfect timing for me... supper time!!! However my wifi is working poorly on my computer and my tablet hates streaming so I have to impatiently wait for clips.. this all had better be fixed by ACI... darned cable providers.....
-
It is evening here (toronto time), so tomorrow could be the media day of practice and the music reveal.... or not. Either way, not much longer until she blows !!!! I didnt think it would be today, since it was a holiday and the coaches might not be there... we know Brian loves his cottage!!! Just because it is open all the time does not mean coaches are always there.
-
You're not alone. It happens to me often too.
-
ITA about it possibly being Brian's idea. He wants those programs work3d on and performed and the guys competing against each to get the tone for the season. What better incentive for javi to get serious quickly (yuzu too) than to know a comp against yuzu is very soon. I hoped someone would be....:)
-
Yay!!! But hot damn, I wish I had made plans to go.... my internet had better be fixed by then!!! Brian wants a 2 for 1 deal... no more extra travelling! Wonder which ladies are going? Only know about Mai...

Secrets at tcc are probably short term secrets... I meant others.

Yeah, keeping 4lz hidden, if it is in the cards, might be good until competition time. Always good to keep the competition guessing... even if they suspect. Him bringing a 4lz can totally complicate the game.

Yeah, the 8th... so basically we should hear something in less than 24 hours... we must enjoy the peace. The board will be living through its first real test of news for 2017-18. I am going to Ikea tomorrow, so maybe I will have a cheap breakfast with non real eggs... so yummy!!!

Other Skaters' 2017/18 program announcements
liv replied to CupidsBow's topic in Knickknacks: General Skating Chat
I do not blame the judges alone. I would add coaches and choreographers into the mix for thinking the judges want that. Hamilton, Boitano, Orser, Stojko, Urmanov Yagudin, Lipinski, Kwan (98), Hughes... all did well with no warhorses for long programs at the Olympics... I wont go into other disciplines, but they exist there too. Or maybe the skaters themselves think if they go classic it will be more Olympic, or majestic or meaningful. -
I prefer Mai's tango too, and also watched it on repeat, lol. She still needs to work on it, but she is trying to be crisp, trying to bring attitude, there are sharper movements. She has made efforts on her packaging. There is a fancier outfit, more polished makeup, now it is hair for a tango that needs to change... im sure it will.
