I am so happy for him, and that they're acknowledging just how much he's done for skating in Spain in general. Another reason it makes me feel great to know he's going to continue passing on that to kids after he re-tires!

Penny Coomes and Nick Buckland are back! They have won the IJF Sheffield competition this weekend!

 

 

 

I'm so happy for for them after what happened to Penny! She fractured her knee cap into 8 pieces (!) over a year ago, but despite of the near career ending injury, she didn't give up. She had to learn everything again - not just how to skate but how to walk...Nick uploaded a video about her recovery process which is truly inspirational.

 

I wish them all the best and hope to see them back at major competitions -including the Olympics-too!
