So far there's no confirmation from JSF and Shoma's team and they both said "he's ok". The injury is only the speculation from media, most of them use the term "it seem", "it appear". He's breaking into new boots so it may hurt his foot. Hopefully its just a minor pain and some rest/icing may enough. I'm glad he stopped the practice right away. From practice notes, he has trouble with 4F and 4lo, other jumps are ok so I think he'll be fine.

Hoping for the best! /Please be well Shoma/

Some impressions from yesterday's practices:

I missed the ice dancers and most of the ladies unfortunately (Wakaba, Zagitova and Ivett too:tumblr_inline_n18qr8XewT1qid2nw:) but I saw the pairs and most of the men.

Savchenko/Massot were fantastic, they are on a different level <3 They are so smooth and elegant.

I enjoyed Boyang's practice-every time I see him he improves more and more. It is great to see his development. :tumblr_inline_nhkezsTB3v1qid2nw:

I liked Misha and Keegan (he is so fun :tumblr_inline_ncmif5EcBB1rpglid:) too. Kolyada has great flow and spee and very good ice coverage. I missed half of that group so I didn't see most of his jumps :/

Nathan looked a bit uncomfortable to me, I don't know why. He jumped a lot, there were some pops and falls but overall not bad.

Ladies practice, again, what a joy. Also, Pairs yesterday, it never ceases to be so impressive in real life. This is why I go to Worlds. Television is nice, but there is nothing quite like the real thing. Just get sucked in.

Doubt I’ll go to Japan and Canada for Worlds, so sure hope it’ll be back in Europe in 2021!

So Shoma's not at the practice rink again?

I hope he's okay. But if he's not, I hope he doesn't compete injured. :sigh:

I don't think his practice group even start. There's one practice before SP, if he need more rest. He'll be fine I think

Because they do stream it. I can see it right now! (And yes I am at the venue, but my Player works here, too.)
