oh really? Hmm, Lynn Rutherford just tweeted that Nathan is training the long, while Adam is training the short ... It would have made more sense if Shoma and Nathan were competing against each other ...

Smart decision if they don't have a set layout yet. No need to reveal cards in the short, and conveniently avoid a head-on collision with the other guys in the top 6. Unless something happens, most countries are sending their second seed in the men's for the long, so Nathan skating the long may not need more than 3 quads to do well.

Adam doing the short is what's worrying me ... I think he would place higher in the long, because there are only 5 teams...

"Yuzuru not doing Team Event"

Everybody's team: "You knooooow what... what about... not doing it either"

Shoma: "......Whatever, it's more practice"

"Yuzuru is repeating programs!"

Everyone else: "You knooooow what...who needs new programs?"

don't forget the hate he got ... but nah, it's okay if everyone else does it

to be fair though, Ashley got a lot of critics for repeating her Moulin rouge for the third season too :sadPooh:

Well, WE see it as him being way ahead in terms of strategy and foreseeing. Haters Others would see it as "At least other skaters try with new programs first, it shows hard work! Hanyu didn't even try! What a lazy!" Just ignore them.

Okay, it's amazing Shoma hasn't been abducted yet.

Seriously,  it sounds like abducting him is a walk in the park. Just strap on some skates on him, take him to a rink and let him skate, mission accomplished, he won't even notice that he's not at a correct rink, or the various corridors that he's not familiar with whizzed past him. You won't even need to blindfold him, since he's not paying attention. :13877886:

How did he survive/stay safe this long?

Maybe he has a bodyguard, too? Someone who takes care of him? Anyway, he always looks like he didn't had enough sleep ! :tumblr_inline_mqt4grU8ua1qz4rgp:
