You know what would be amusing for them to do for TE? If they did it like Japan open or the WTT competitions. Rathern than feds/countries against each other, go continent for contient. Europe vs NA vs Oceana vs Asia (or maybe these last 2 can combine) might be really amusing. The feds would need to actually cooperate, ya know, which would be a nice breeze of fresh air, and each section would have more choices too. It might actually be an evenly balanced competition: Asia might still suck at ice dance, but china can send out its pairs to pull up what Japan and S Korea normally isn't as storng in; europe gets to be fairly balanced (though might lagg behind in men's), NA would also be fairly balanced.

Yep. You CAN switch up to 2 if you want to but it's not necessarily a requirement to do so.

The medals will be a nightmare to sort out, and it will be strange to do it for Olympics where countries are competing against each other. The reason why Japan Open and WTT work the way they do is precisely because they are not during Olympics, where Figure Skating is not the only competition.

It will be amusing, but then it should not be an Olympics competition (which is basically how I feel about the current iteration of Team Even, tbh).
