Looks good! She's executing the tango well. She just needs to get into character a bit more (i.e., match her facial expressions), and it's looking like a great program for her.

and the dress is stunning! I like it better then Wakaba's one.

I'm so excited about Marin's SP, too bad the camera work didn't do it justice and they didn't show some interesting bits.. can't wait to see it in competition

It kind of feels very fresh even though it's a tango: exciting choreography and I loved those steps where she moves backwards - looks so cool!  

 

Now we need Wakaba's program, the lack of news about her has been so frustrating this summer

Not thrilled with this at all. I think tango is such a poor choice for her, she doesn't have the essence of the music grasped in the least. I guess Jeff did what he could and it is still very early, so might improve. Even with that though, I'd say it's a miss.

I think it is a nice program with lovely skating... but it is not a tango. She is skating too softly and gently without the attitude needed to get that feeling across. Jeff said that would be her challenge and so it is.  I hold out hope that it will grow during the season. Love the ss, though.

Outside of costume (Mai should do something with her style asap) I like Mai's tango much more than Marin's. Even though it was too raw and unusual for her. But still, have rewatched It several times.

Yeah, I'll have to agree. I've rewatched Mai's program several times too because once it was over I was in total awe and wanted more of it  

It will be interesting to see how the girls will approach this new tango style later in the season

I prefer Mai's tango too, and also watched it on repeat, lol. She still needs to work on it, but she is trying to be crisp, trying to bring attitude, there are sharper movements.  She has made efforts on her packaging. There is a fancier outfit, more polished makeup, now it is hair for a tango that needs to change... im sure it will.
