Tbh I am too. It’s kind of unsettling to see such a passionate skater lose his motivation in his last year.

Well, thanks for the warning, but I hope the final costume will have the waist of his trousers a little lower? This looks like how my little cousin used to wear his new trousers, bought a couple of sizes too big because he was growing like a reed. Pulled up to his chest and a wedgie waiting to happen.

 

ETA: Skate Canada was not good for costumes, was it? Patrick lost his, this happened to Jason's! Maybe Nathan has a point, he can always just buy a dad-shirt from a mall.

I’m not a fan of costume that look like a body suit. Lol. It doesn’t flatter the men body shape.... except Yuzu. He can get away with it cus of his tapered waistline. 

It's very true - in 'Costumes we love to hate' there's a photo of Joubert wearing a similar get up and it's a disaster- unless you have a wasp waist it looks terrible.  What the hell is he thinking - he had a great costume last year?

thank god velour happened and made things slightly better (although I'm genuinely impressed that everything is so.........smooth. I think I remember seeing somewhere that male skaters have to basically also wear leotards? No idea how true that is)
