Yes, I had that feeling as well and frankly, it's a smart choice. The technical is a safe bet, she doesn't have to think if the judges will go with her or not. And she needs those good placements. She's really stable so this can only go up from here!

I'm kind of glad Dabin lost her red FS dress somewhere in China because this one is sooooo gorgeous.

Dabin is such a quiet introspective skater.

She should project more to the audience.

Oh I am not sure she'll avoid the carrot cake.

 

And no, Simon, it's not a big point scorer if she gets slammed with URs.

Her Worlds/4CC scores are probably better indicators of her scoring as it is right now with the judges than the WTT PBs. Even though I would probably give her a bit more PCS for the goosebumps in my arms.

This music loses steam in the middle, making it somewhat easy to tune out... not the best choice : /

still can't choose between mai wakaba gabby marin, alina has a very high chance of podium too.. and elena.. and liza if she lands that 3A... okay I'm just gonna stop thinking 

 

I lovee dabin's dress but she'll get some URs here and there I think

And she increased her transitions and was clean and I think there's improvement to her projection : /
