I believe they wear different clothes according to their profession.

Sochi medals were unveiled 30 May 2013 according to official site: https://www.olympic.org/news/sochi-2014-unveils-olympic-medals

Maybe in couple of weeks we'll see how Pyeongchang medals will look like.
