They say Darya Panenkova is injured and might not make it the final. I hope it's just a rumour...

Unfortunately true but it's still a while since JGPF, she has time to recover and she's hopeful. Doesn't look like a fracture. Wishing her a speedy recovery.

Edit: Apparently it is a bone fracture. :tumblr_inline_n18qr8XewT1qid2nw:

I heard that she should be back in time for the final though? Well fingers and toes crossed and no wonder she wasn't at her best in K&C, must have been hurting poor baby.

From her fanfest at GS, they say she's taking her cast off this Friday, so she has time for recovery before JGPF.

Update thread on Daria's injury. Click on tweet to be taken towards the twitter thread for more info but main points is she injured herself in Poland on the 3F but will have her cast taken off on Friday as mentioned above.

Kostornaya is skating in the Seniors division this coming Sunday in the 3rd stage of CoR. It'll be good to see how she's doing. Tara managed 2nd though it was an all right skate in the 2nd round, Juniors.

Plus more Kostornaya is always a good thing. We'll be seeing Trusova too, Junior division. I'm curious to see how the 4S is at the moment..

Well Erokhov just had a very, very good skate at the 3rd stage of CoR. It's going to be interesting at JGPF because his form is going up. This was better than at the JGPs.

The ladies go tomorrow and the day after.
