His comments about letting his choreographer choose the music because he doesn't want to pick a favourite of his own and get fed up with it is interesting- he seems to think the choreographers choices will stretch him more than his own would.   It reminds me of what Johnny  Weir said about Javier Fernandez and his Elvis choice after his lacklustre FS at GPF - something about Elvis 'getting old' after a bit.  There have been comments about JFs less successful season on another thread- maybe as well as the younger ones coming through, not upgrading his jumps, carrying an ice show over the Christmas period and possible stamina issues he just picked the wrong music- it wasn't sufficiently interesting to carry him through the whole season.
