Zu fell to 9th place after a rather disastrous SP, and was afraid that would cost them JP's 3 spots. Plus, the year before he did rather well, and this was the first season with Orser, where everyone and their grandmothers were questioning why he was not improving. He ended up placing 4th after FS that year.
