Such was the case I didn't even know there was an ending pose - today I learned something new :tumblr_inline_n18qr5lPWB1qid2nw: (I only ever saw the broadcast)

A Japanese photographer, Yutaka Nagakubo, was salty about it as well. :tumblr_inline_mqt4gi8ECy1qz4rgp:

“Shouldn’t the angle [during the ending pose] be more zoomed out (wider)?“......

That reminded me of his perfect performance of "SEIMEI” in Barcelona GPF last season. After he opened up his arms to the “dan—” at the finish, Hanyu-senshu formed sword seals (bringing middle and index fingers together to form the “sword”) with both hands and brought them together in front of his body to a close.

Ahh, I was wondering what the pose was. It looked so cool - again, I love how fully realised Yuzu's SEIMEI program was. He really was the character, inside and out. I loved the article you linked - #photographerproblems is a real phenomenon
