Ok, I have a problem and would like to know if anyone is struggling with the same dilemma.
Of course I will get a ticket, but I'm really not sure if I want to watch it live🙈.
Just thinking about it gives me competition vibe nerves. Imagin Yuzu in front of so many people that all are just there for him in addition to all the eyes watching through live stream or in cinemas, makes me break out in cold sweat with second hand pressure and nerves😱 (and its not a 4min skate). So, I know I would probably enjoy it more when watching as a replay, knowing what had happened. If everything was going as it should, or if there was a slight stumble on a jump or whatever (of course everything will go perfectly fine, pray it into existance🙏). But, I also really enjoy chatting with you guys and sharing thoughts when watching live.....
Sooo.....anyone having similar trouble😅?

Why don’t you watch it live and then rewatch later?

me lmao, i swear i overthink everything which causes me anxiety about the dumbest things. Yuzu skating live is def one of the things that causes me as much worry as happiness, but like always i'll push thru i genuinely don't think i could miss this show live it's too iconic, too goated and a once in a lifetime experience. And then i'll rewatch it a billion times and actually take it all in. I keep telling myself that if i survived olys tenchi live i can survive anything else, maybe that'll work for you too. But if you don't think you can handle it (which is okay) then you can buy the ticket and watch after, but you need to buy the ticket before the show iirc

On the Globe Coding site, they said that if you buy the ticket after the live streaming, only archived video will be available (which is kinda obvious). If I understand it correctly, this means that you can buy the ticket also after the event, as long as the video is archived, i.e. until 1 March 23:59 HK/TW time (minus the time it takes to watch the recording).

Not me. Live viewing all the way, for me. I'm just hoping the livestream will hold up and not crash

I have full sympathy for your 'competition vibe nerves' - I suppose I will feel sth very similar when watching GIFT for the first time. Although I'm not so very sure that I will be able to watch it live, and that's 1) because of the time difference: I'd have to get up very early (for my circumstances) and get ready and prepared for uninterrupted viewing (how long - 90 minutes? 2 hours?); and 2) because of familial obligations. Most probably I will (have to) watch it from the Globecoding archive later, where I can pause and restart the stream at leisure, if needs must.

As regards live chat - I would REALLY love that! But (first and) last time I participated (it was SharePractice, iirc), I realized that I am not 'Napoleon', i.e. can't do multitasking - either I concentrate on the stream and miss out on replying timely to a chat-comment, or I do exert myself to read and reply in a timely manner, but then I miss parts of the stream. So, with regret, I will have to give up the live chat, even if I do live viewing.

I very much hope that I'll be able to get a ticket (my daughter will have to help me or rather do that for me, coz I'm an absolute novice with purchasing anything online), and that Globecoding will fulfil the promise of 'infinite' viewings from the archive in the ticketing time frame :fingerscrossed:

When any of my fellow German fanyus have managed to buy a ticket, I would appreciate a short notice here with some details on payment options etc. - thanks in advance  0:)

Maybe I will just decide spontaneous...or try self hypnosis😂😉

Nope, thats not allowed at all. No crashing happening! This platform will be ready for all the fanyus.

Spoiler

not like a certain other platform, that couldn't handle a meager 50mil viewers

You are Not Alone. I am sort of swithering... but then I remember just how many people are going to be watching him at the same minute, both right there and all over the world, and I think I have to be part of it.

And that totally should have known to expect it. Who did they think they were dealing with, anyway? *eyeroll*
