June 11, 20224 yr Today was such a treat! Even though this was filmed about 2 weeks ago, I was so happy and refreshed to see Yuzu having the best time. He genuinely seemed to enjoy every moment and his inreractions with the audience are always so precious. The respect he shows to the artists, to other skaters, to the audience, to the cameramen, backstage etc... he's a true inspiration and we can all see the good person that he is. Yuzu feeding from the support of the people highlights, in my opinion, how sensitive he is and how he truly tries his best all the time to bring joy around him. I hope he's resting well now and that we'll see him (hopefully) next week back to full force and happy. Refering back to Nagoya Day 3, even when he was so exhausted, he still did his best to put everything into his performances and to convey his gratitude to everyone. And now we can see that exhaustion came from a place of Yuzu giving 200%. What I said here is nothing new, but everytime I am in awe of his passion, strength and morality.

I totally agree with that. Yuzu's interview with English subtitles [NEWS] I think he will certainly relax a bit with his family now, before rehearsals begin again. I'm very curious about his "new" program next week. As I mentioned a few days ago.. maybe Rondo violin version. So let's be surprised. Now first eat something. Nice weekend everyone
June 11, 20224 yr I watched on JapanTV from 8.30am (the recorded version!) - my alarm went at 5am but I just couldn't wake properly plus I still thought it might be Day 3 so motivation was low lol! so it was great to see a different day! Yuzuru was fabulous I thought - so relaxed in the opening, great jump, great dancing, great audience interaction. I loved seeing the backstage stuff (I always want more though!! They have it, SHOW IT TO US PLEEEEASE!) Real Face - definite improvement from the first day, I really loved this performance, full of passion! His 3A was gorgeous! I liked Yuzu's response to the "splashing water" question - yes Yuzu it WAS a thrilling moment I love how Yuzuru seeks to thrill us! Yuzuru was also very enthusiastic in the closing number - really does give his full energy - plus some! Johnny/Yuzu interaction has been really lovely I think, I like seeing him and his easy manner with all the skaters - Javi and Yuzu too with a little bit for the photographer. From what Javi said in interview it seems that as far as Javi knows Yuzu is going to continue competing (not that I am suggesting Yuzu would take Javi into his confidence about this - once upon a time maybe, but now? Not sure). Fantastic 4T 3A!! Other programmes I loved today (skipped through a few I admit! The benefit of watching the recorded version!)- Deniss wow such a powerful expressive musical skate I really rate Deniss as one of my faves he is wonderful to watch! Stephane of course (always mesmerising. especially the first skate I thought despite the small mistakes on jumps), Shizuka's first skate I adore it, her elegant style is perfect for that music, Nobu - kinky boots is amazing, Gabby and Guillaume's skate to Harumi's live performance.... Thanks for all the posts on here too, it was great to see your views and the twitter and YT posts. Bring on Kobe!! Hope Yuzuru is resting well (Oh - One translation of his interview I saw said he was "tense daily" and that coming to perform was so wonderful, making it sound like he could relax by performing in front of an audience; and other interpreted the tense bit as "having the jitters" for todays performance - I hope he isn't tense daily!! ) Yuzu, if you lurk here, THANK YOU! I love seeing you performing so much! Just wish I could sometimes be there...
