When you take away so called "quads" from programs, it gives more life to the skating itself and I love it.

I think Kaori would have deserved even higher points for interpretation... Overall I'm pleased with the results though

She popped her 3A (turned into a 2A), but even so she should have been a bit higher

….so here she couldn’t get the scores she got in the team event?

As her 3A was not in good shape, Wakaba was trying to do 2A, but the height was too much and could not control it.

Maybe she could not decide until the very last moment  

 

I hope she will perform good FS with a perfect 3A!!  

 

EDIT:  I'm concerned about her spins. Why LEVEL3 for all ?

I checked the protocol. Two spins have been changed to LEVEL 4 

I see JSF is still sticking to the policy of just supporting one/two skaters and let the others get thrown under the bus. Good for Kaori though but feeling pity for Waka.

I have only two wishes and this is a medal for Loena and 3 spots for Korea, pleaseee

I have additional wish of Kao-chan champ to compensate for the previous wc medal robbery, 3 spots for jpn ladies, redemption skate for Waka and Mana with beautifully landed 3As, happy korean bbs, happy Katya (ideally they'd made such a lovely top6) and PLEASE no Mariah on podium sigh, and could Karen or Alysa actually do better than her in the fs?
