March 24, 20224 yr Uno's PCS really highlights how inflated Yuma's score is. I still think Uno score is on the higher side, but no way the two are on the same level.
March 24, 20224 yr Ok, so that was my first competition watched. I can surely say that Rondo Capriccioso is officially a diamond among all the SPs.

March 24, 20224 yr Wow, Deniss was great. Really happy for him. Sad about Juns skate, but Shoma.....damn, that was beautiful. Well done! And looks like they are quite generous with their scores overall.... Spoiler Imagin Yuzu beeing there and having a clean skate.....

March 24, 20224 yr Yuzu being there, skating clean wouldn't have given him high scores, at most 110. I thought we had settled it long ago~
March 24, 20224 yr I am following Golden Skate competition thread at the same time, and it's nice to see a grand total of 1 (one) comment feeling concern over PCS: Spoiler "I like Yuma, but I think 47 in components are a bit high. He has still room to grow in the interpretation sector and I´m sure he will improve. But right now, I wouldn´t give him a 9 in interpretation and choreography." I like to check GS for general FS news, but sometimes I feel like I am watching a different competition

More later on this but 😭 So, the last time I saw Shoma live, back in 2018, it was like watching a recital of his skills - he was technically brilliant, but there was no sense whatsoever that he was trying to connect to an audience. Today, when he skated, the audience was swept up in the story he was trying to convey because he put his heart and soul into it and we could see that. It was actually very moving to see how he's grown.
March 24, 20224 yr Yeah, you can't stop brining in these comparisons. I have the page skating scores open, unfortunately.
