I thought she just ran out of steam - she seemed v tired at end

but wasnt she fab she must have wanted that soooooo much! Well done Mai, the skater who makes me cry more than any other!! (in a good way!)

She is. I'm so glad she gets this title back :)

All the three Japanese ladies did so well. They can be proud of the performances they put out today.

Congrats to Haein and Yelim too, but I miss Haein's first costume. It was so gorgeous.

Not the best day for Young but I believe she did what she could. Now hopefully she can have some rest and regroup herself for Beijing.

second question about the mistake in the spin :weeping: why would you ask about that at a time when someone has just won a gold medal that they wanted so much and had worked so hard for?? and are so happy about? I dont understand people at all

and if they dare ask about the Russian young women again I will not be responsible for my actions!!!

Well done all 3, and also Mai for being more assertive at the press conf (that is certainly something useful you can learn from the Russian young women!! dont let the (Western?) journalists put you down!!)

Am I being too sensitive do you think?

gorgeous happy pic <3:cheer:

Mai was always so harsh on herself, I'm so glad she is finally happy and satisfied.

I knew she would win. Everyone said Young you would win, but Mai got great international marks this year. I honestly had no doubts, no matter what the Korean ladies could do. So happy for her.
