February 20, 20224 yr Good night, everyone. It has been an absolute rollercoaster over the past 3 weeks (both Olympics-wise and personally--which undoubtedly heightened each other). My journey with Yuzu began in 2018 with Notte Stellata in the PyeongChang gala (which remains my favorite skate of his) and now I've just watched him in the 2022 gala. Lots has happened with him and with skating over the past 4 years, but this event has also made me think back on everything I've been through over the past 4 years as well and what I should do to carry those experiences forwards... and how the passing of time is a strange thing. I feel a bit lost almost, like where do I go from here after waiting for these Olympics for so long? Did all of that really just happen? Did 4 years pass by so quickly? All of this is to say, I need a good sleep (and I'll catch up on Sui/Han in the morning!)
February 20, 20224 yr his face actually touches the ice tho? This post has been tagged by yuzuangel as [NEWS].
February 20, 20224 yr It's almost impressive how every M/G program is so annoying to me. Still, this is by far their best program at this event.
February 20, 20224 yr Yuzuru got the best reception imo. You know who carries the adoration and respect of the public.
February 20, 20224 yr Yuzu was too good, probably one of his most emotional performances ever but the camerawork could have been better. Many details were not caught properly. Thank you Yuzu, HYK is always my personal emotional support program
February 20, 20224 yr I tuned in on Kaori's EX and thought I missed Yuzu's gala performance , good thing that his EX was still a few performances down the line! I enjoyed it, I'd enjoy it more if there were more full body shots (instead of close up shots ), but I'll take what I can *sigh* I almost forgot the zaniness that was Nicole and Matteo's EX 😆🤣🤣, and I stayed until Loena's EX (let's just say she's a sentimental favorite). I know it seemed weird why she was performing after Yuzu, but I think I know why... Spoiler Loena's slot was a buffer of sorts for the medallists performing near the end of the gala. If Yuzu's turn were slotted closer to any of the medallists performing at the end of the gala, he'd just inadvertently highlight how unremarkable some of the medallists' performance are... I kinda want to see the finale, but not quite... Anyhow didn't think I'd see HYK on olympic ice

His jumps are nice and I enjoy watching him more than NC, but the scoring really turns me off. He is not Yuzu caliber yet, but they try to make it look like he's already surpassed Yuzu.
