February 21, 20224 yr Was the closing ceremonies by invitation only? I understand Yuzu not going, and Shoma is likely well on his way back to Stephane but Vincent was not invited, which seems weird. And also mean.

If I read correctly Vincent was going to go but then got turned down for Covid reasons or something (which makes no sense considering he was clean by then). Maybe I misunderstood.

Maybe I misunderstood. Absurd - he skated (and quite nicely) in the Gala. I'm still not pleased that Jun and Jason weren't asked to perform, though Jun says it was for the best since Covid is still so prevalent (though he was disappointed). And the Gala - I had to take ,my computer into other countries to watch (first Canada and then Germany) - I was willing to record NBC coverage for that yesterday but had to fast forward through (and this is true) three hours of cross-country skiing to get to it. NBC didn't bother to show pretty much anyone not American, except Yuzu. They didn't even show Keegan's program. Or Sasha. I could take off on NBC's coverage now, but avoided it until yesterday.

If so, I feel incredibly relieved Yes that seems to be a quote from him. Unfortunately I couldn't find a another source except this from twitter. But I totally agree, it's really relieving to read this. How happy he looks in the picture.
