I didn't like the way you were spoken to either, acknowledging other skaters' strengths and achievements is not only a healthy approach but also something that I strongly believe Yuzuru would welcome - as we've seen him show sportmanship countless times.

I feel for you, I'm the same and quite indifferent to Ilia so I won't mention him winning tonight but I have to say, Adam Siao Him Fa managed to go from 19th after the SP to 3rd overall even with a deduction for a backflip. It was rather incredible to watch.

Haven't posted here for a while but watching the comp and was rooting for a redemption skate for Adam and man, I got what I asked for. I know some people will see the backflip as arrogant and I can understand. But if he felt like he needed to do it and cared about leaving his mark more than his scoring I fully support him! It was a great moment to witness. Also can't help to wonder what Yuzuru would think haha

Man I hate knowing Yuzu is struggling. Beijing was hard enough but he's been doing so well and enjoying his art and now THIS just after he got married ans finally had time for himself and a love life? I keep wondering what he's doing and if he's "okay" and if his wife is. This feels so terrible, like the plot twist in a movie when the hero was finally happy 😪

Honestly I know it's impossible and maybe I'm being extreme but I hope with all my heart that every reporter/paparazzi who has harrassed him or his wife loses their job. I don't even care that it's their job and it pays the bills if there's no basic humanity and decency left. Get another job that don't involve ruining people's lives.

He's a sensitive person, and even though he's also incredibly independent and mentally strong, it's very nice to think that if he's ever upset he's got a shoulder to cry on (in addition to his family and friends of course). It just warms my heart.
