I hope this means that we'll still get many of years of Yuzu skating and wildin' it! He's getting better and better and still keeps improving in every way, as a skater as well as a performer. I look forward to seeing what Yuzu has in store for us!

I don't know who said it but on Day 1 a satellite posted a plea on here  to "Seam-san" not to split open   so funny I thought!!

It seems like Seam-san is trying its best but there are still 2 shows to go!! so there's time yet for Yuzu to spill out of his tight costume/s  hang in there Seam-san we are rooting for you.....I think?

I couldn't stop watching LGC and white-shirt/black-pants today because of the above....(I was supposed to be working but I had watched SOI from 6am to 8.30am, and THAT was my mistake on a work day - once was just nowhere near enough!!)

I think he looks just as beautiful, more beautiful in fact, just in a less boyish way. So mature, so gorgeous....sorry to gush, but really Yuzu!!! What can we do with you looking like THAT!!  Anyway the SKATING was fab, yes the skating that's what we are gathered here for, I just loved seeing LGC again, I'm one of the few who thinks it superior to LMEY, especially in the White costume....

What a great skate from the Mr. main character. Too bad the rink is small (I don’t really care but the men’s customs could be more interesting, not recycling the last minute shopping from local H&M smh)

I think more than physical changes and muscle gains, Yuzu has matured a lot mental wise. In my opinion, his aura is different now. I noticed it the first time he appeared after a long time for jnat last year. Brian described it well in his recent interview, he gives off the feeling of a child that went on a trip alone and became an adult. (not exact wording but lol Brain giving nice interviews recently)

Now he is calm, focused, confident and a lot matured. Probably he had a very difficult year in 2020 to reach his current state. Interestingly, he is physically stronger too at the age of 26. I don’t see fans appreciating enough that he landed two nice quads in the second half of his free after a freaking asthma attack (and yes I’m still bitter about the GOE). Hope he keeps healthy and continues to skate for a long long time cause it seems he is really going to hit the peak at 30 lmao

 

PS: Praying for the safety of everyone there.

PSS: How he could change from his tight LGC custom to polo shirt in 3 minutes though

I mean, someone had to take things into their hands, or they all would have stayed there awkwardly looking around and waiting for directions for some more time (and there was curfew looming so really they needed to move)

 

anyway, the ease of Yuzu entering the finale as the main character he is, performing into bow, yeeting to the mic, delivering a heartfelt speech in 20secs, then yeeting back into performing* into more bows on each side of the rink AND kneeling as a knight for good measure...then mouthing the lyrics and gently waving to the music as skaters are called one by one, and then directing the bows....who can do it like him?

 

*I'm like looping that part non stop because he's immediately SO into it, and the insideIB!!!!!!!!!!!

 

 

(also, he's always sweating buckets...I hope they had a nice towel waiting for him behind the scenes)

I had meant to note this back in the WC thread, but it is interesting that the only jumps that he landed well, despite being in 2nd half, were his toe jumps. All edge jumps had issues. This probably meant that, even more than his breathing/stamina, the most off thing about him during that skate was his sense of timing/balance (of course breathing issues seriously impairs one's other senses too). He has talked about how ice quality is trickier for edge jumps, but my guess is that in general he needs a more careful timing with edge jumps, so if there is something off in sense of balance or something like that, probably edge jumps would be the most affected

he has natural leadership qualities...and he HAS hosted his own ice shows of course - and also he did soooo many in 2011 so he was an old hand at ice shows whilst still a young teen.  PLUS he loves to show off!! Take charge Yuzu please we love it!! ... oh yes and we like sweaty towels too lol!!
