I noticed only now that Yuzu has replaced the Chopper necklace with the Golden Wing necklace since Makuhari. Until Beijing, he was wearing Mirror Ball, Chopper and Feathers on the ice and Mirror Ball and Golden Wing off the ice. Now he is wearing Mirror Ball, Golden Wing and Feathers for his performances. 

It feels meaningful to me because I remember a Phiten article saying that the Golden Wing was made for Yuzu to wear it only in his private life. He obviously changed his mind about this now.

I will miss the Chopper, he has worn it for so long that it seemed to be a natural part of him, but maybe he made this change to get even more flying/jumping power by wearing two feather necklaces.

I can't think of any other individual skater or many athletes who have had exhibitions dedicated to their costumes, medals/awards combined with a substantial body of photos.

 

Please, please if anyone visited the latest exhibitions, a first hand account would be highly appreciated. With a list of all of the merchandise goodies purchased

I have lived in Sendai for over 20 years.

But I did not know Yuzuru until Sochi 2014 Olympics. So I became his fan in 2014.
He became an Olympic Champion at the age of 19 and continues to support

the areas affected by the earthquake and tsunami.
My family and I lost our house in the Great East Japan Earthquake.

We went through a lot of hardship.
So we are always grateful to him.　
His victory parade in Sendai in 2014 and 2018 made us happy.　
His performance in Beijing Olympics also made us happy.
We always wish him happiness and good health. 
Thank you for reading to my poor English.

I see that we both became fans of Yuzuru because of Sochi 2014 and that we have been members of Planet Hanyu since May 1, 2017.

 

I cannot imagine the hardship that you and your family must have gone through as the result of the Great East Japan Earthquake. I sincerely hope that life has improved for you and your family since then.

Thanks so much to Planethanyu.com for providing the full ice shows. Live.qq doesn’t play the whole program, but goes to old Yuzu videos half way through. They do return to the ice show towards the end, but there is always that panic that they won’t. Even so, it’s awesome to be able to see the whole shows. Thank you!!!
