Wow...especially considered U.S. had about a 8% viewership...I think the ISU should be so thankful to Japan and Russia (maybe Canada too) for saving skating.

As a comparison, when Nao Kodaira won the 500m, the highest was 34.6% at 9:34pm. 

 

Sendai's average viewership was 41.2%. The highest was 56% when Yuzu was confirmed to be the winner.
