There's also his favourite phrase to say to Boyangman.. "Jia You!"

I find it amusing he's calling Boyang by his nickname "Tian Tian." You usually don't do that in China unless you're pretty close. Now to see him cheer on Cha Junhwa in Korean.

This was posted hours ago but as a Ninomiya (Arashi) fan I just want to say that sadly you're missing out on one of the best trolls and snark in johnnys. He cares about his image as an idol, I'm sure, but Nino has been carving an interesting image for himself.

Oh, I'm not missing out :) I watch the variety shows (well not since FS has taken over my life), I just avoid all "singing" and "dancing" activities. He's hilarious and sharp as a tack but the cringe is too much to take. :drama:

Is he just repeating what someone in the audience was saying?

Possibly, but Jia You is one of the easiest to imitate/pronounce right. I'd die to hear him try some of the tongue twisters, especially between the si/shi and ci/chi and zi/zhi sounds.

And it always amuses me that going from Chinese to Korean or japanese, pronunciation isn't so hard, but going from korean/japanese to chinese pronunciation gets harder?

Or he could try russian.

I found the whole video :tumblr_inline_ncmif5EcBB1rpglid:

LOL dying at the shot of the Korean/Yuzu fans in the audience all armed basically like the press corps. Also his accent when he says 'soondubu' is so cute~

Apparently Korean and Japanese grammatical structures are very similar so it's very easy to learn one by learning the other (that being said, I struggled at first to make heads or tails of Korean). Chinese is....er...a different beast LOL. Tonal pronunciation is tricky hahaha. I want to hear him speak Russian...he probably will at CoR : D

Yea variety Nino when he's on a roll is spectacular and really you're not missing much with avoiding the singing and dancing lol even me who can just laugh some things away or think its cute sometimes get secondhand embarrassment. But same story I haven't been up to date in a long while. Life happened and then Overlord Yuzu came crashing.

He did say spasibo in Russian during the press conference in 2011. And in Helsinki, he spoke a few words of cute Russian to Maxim Kovtun.

I was on LJ everyday compulsively checking for new subs and waiting for old subs to be resurrected. Then bam - my harddrive is just full of FS now. I waited so long for this one group with Mago Mago subs to come back and they did and I just can't be bothered now. :P
