The program is getting better. Closer to his age.... /still a girl though :rofl:/

I'll be honest, half my family think he's a girl, too. I have this gorgeous wallpaper of Yuzu in his swan costume on my iPhone lock screen (made by the queen of wallpapers, Pamigena), and even just last week my brother looked at it and went "Why do you keep having a photo of that girl on your phone?"

Oddly enough, it's always the men who think he's a woman. It's never women, in my experience. We understand and see the difference clearly. For men, there seems to be some genetic factor that makes them mostly incapable of accepting that some men don't have to look like body-builders to be a man...    <---- somewhat generalized, of course, but the general idea is there.

Awww that first paragraph made me want to squeeze Yuzu so much. I like the French's point of view about it!

I'm too migrained to translate myself (I do well enough with French), but google does a decent job. This bit, though:

"former world champion Brian Orser, a six-year-old Japanese trainer at his school in Toronto."

Poor Brian.

on another topic : A quite funny article about the Yuzu craze in the Journal du Quebec :)http://www.journaldequebec.com/2017/09/22/hysterie-a-la-japonaise - once again, focusing on his japanese fan, ignoring us international fans, but well.

I'd be glad to translate, but later - I don't have time right now.

oh gosh that article is so sweet and funny :smiley-love017:

Hahaha never seen a 6 years old with so little hair

And google translate is still better than me with french lol douze?? What's douze???

Good morning! What a night! :pancake:

I woke up with Thoughts, so I'm just gonna go for it.

1) I think the FS's going to be interesting, with the knee, with Brian working so hard to lower expectations.

2) I also think it's really good practice for the season to get used to being in first place after the SP, and not the underdog. This is after all the level he is aspiring to with his consistency and "beyond the ideal". Hopefully he will keep his focus after the WR, but I'm thinking it's a work in progress and that's okay.

Awwww they are amazingly cute... <3

Ok, I am awake again ready for Seimei day!!! After everything yesterday though, my brain chose to dream about the DODDS brothers and living in Australia. Ok, brain, but you could have chosen to dream about Yuzu!!!!

You know, yuzu has broken so many records... yet I feel more excited about this one than the one at World's.... why? Because it is the first of the olympic season? Because we know he hurts a bit? We know judges still love this number?  We weren't expecting it? Some of our satellites are there? All of the above?

Good morning! Or insert whatever.

What a wonderful start, knock on wood, and right on for his wanted highest average. Though I do think you overdid it a tad Yuzuru dearest. Not that I'd mind if you keep it like this, just saying. No pressure though!

I am yet again zen as I was before the SP but I think it's probably because I don't expect too much in the way of technical tonight. I hope for his sake he can do well again and be happy again, and so that we can see what Seimei is supposed to be this season.

Hope everyone has stocked up for tonight!

I guess if he effs up his practice today again we can be reassured he'll nail it later. :smiley-laughing021:

I was stocked up yesterday, ate this gorgeous nutella danish... followed by dark chocolate... today demands...hmmm... not sure yet but I have time....

not expecting much today from Seimei, but who knows... maybe after his wr he will feel so much energy and confidence that he will exceed expectations.... I just want to hear that frickin' awesome music going Iinto his choreo ss

Wasn't that the most amazing part of it, though? That he didn't even look like he was putting too much effort in it. It was the same as Hope and Legacy - some called his warm-up there 'lethargic', but lethargic came to win. I really like this new and improved Yuzu, tbh :13877886:
