Hello everyone. It's that time of the year when we all miss Yuzu a little more than usual. This is the first winter Olympics without Yuzu since 2014, and it feels more than a decade ago when I fell in love with a new superstar in Sochi... I can't believe it's been 4 years since Beijing! It was his last olympics but I had hope that he would comeback for a season or two, because he said in the press conference that he didn't rule out the next Olympics... 

Although we don't get to see him compete ever again, I am glad he is still skating in ice shows. I just wanted to rant about how much more I miss him during these winter Olympics..  the media hype around his airport arrival, the Twitter frenzy around his practices, the prayer circles on Twitter..  most of all I miss the fans and their energy during this time. Although we have Ilia, and I do like him, the fan community around him doesn't feel quite the same.. I will forever miss the days as a Yuzu fan especially during the golden era of 2014 ~ 2019. The year before Corona was still so entertaining for us, because he was doing all the grand prix events. I feel Corona kind of ruined the momentum of Yuzu's competitive career and it was sad to see his last competition end that way.. without the crowd and pooh bears. Figure skating will never be the same in my heart after 2019.

Regarding the Olympics today:

 

What. The.  . were those rhythm dance scores?!Are we seeing another Salt Lake 2002 judging scandal in the making?!

May I humbly suggest that an Olympics thread may be in order? Just to keep the angst out of this one, where I think many of us come for an angst-free place to celebrate Yuzu and his accomplishments.

Exactly@rockstaryuzu Even as a French person, I think Shock and Bates were well highlighted (given the coaches' reactions...). I really struggle to support LBF and GC (even though they're excellent dancers) : they both have scandals! (I've read articles about it.)   

 

Also, if you have Netflix, there's a documentary I watched (dubbed in French) : Ice Dancing : The Brilliance of Gold, featuring 3 couples: PG and PP / MC and EB / LBF and GC...

Salut les fans, mon mari et moi avons gagné des billets pour dimanche pour Realive🙏🙏🙏,🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️
Lors de ma participation à Replay, un fan généreux m'a offert des billets de navette sur Lawson (je les ai remboursés, bien sûr). 
Mais je ne sais toujours pas comment procéder pour acheter un billet de navette... 

Lawson est tellement compliqué😰!

Existe-t-il un autre moyen d'acheter des billets de navette ?
Pour Replay, il me semble que le personnel vendait les billets à l'arrêt de navette, mais je n'en suis pas certain…

Is 2023 the last time that Yuzu visited TCC? And here I was thinking that he would visit every year, now that Covid is over... I guess David Wilson comes to Japan to do his chores for his ice shows? I heard Brian say that Yuzu has a Canadian apartment and that the Pooh tissue case was there (Yahoo news interview).
