Unfortunately I have to go out tonight- but I don't think a person who regularly checks cricket scores and football and rugby results during formal dinners and plays and concerts and religious ceremonies is really in a position to criticise if I check my phone from time to time.

Actually those types of contracts are pretty standard, and you do not joke about that. If you've signed them, you do not get only yourself in doo doo but your network too. It's very strict.
