Sorry, I was a little bit harsh about doom and gloom. I am quite negative person sometimes, always waiting for the worst to come. This is why this time I need to stay positive because just thinking about the bad outcome is unbearable.

I think my approach is similar to yours, but I'm tempering that with the now well-substantiated theory that Yuzu's determination will bulldoze through anything. So if he wants his ankle to heal, his ankle is damn well going to heal. But possibly not by gala, and I'm glad that the swan isn't a jump-heavy ex. I think he's pain-free enough that he's having fun right now, so... That's good, too. What's the point if he doesn't have fun!

I watched some perfs of ladies' event today and find so boring. Must blame yuzu to raise the standard so high that whenever some lady showed smt i always (unconciously) thinking 'yuzu might execute it w better accuracy and elegance' lmao. Ofc its unfair for ladies but i cant help it lol

Ok last one... I don’t trust the assumption that he‘s not taking painkillers now.

But I totally get why he is doing it and I think he does deserve to have some fun after 3 months of staying put. He deserves to just enjoy this moment so much!! 4 years of hard work, injuries, recoveries all leading up to this moment... He totally deserves to let go for once

He probably is. But he was earlier feeling pain even with the painkillers because he couldn't get shots locally. The best I hope for is that with the rest and the draining away of stress (which can seriously, seriously inhibit recovery), the oral meds are enough. Not a drastic improvement, but improvement nonetheless.
