  2. And once she becomes senior she can put a 3A in both the SP and the LP. As of now you can't put a quad in the SP so...it's better if the 3A becomes consistent now. (Trusova is learning 3A too ._. so she might have both a quad and the 3A). But anyway being consistent might not be enough. You Young is trying 4S as well after all.
  3. I kind of hoped she would move to a different place...Eteri can sure make her girls successful but she basically has almost all the most talented girls now, it will be a bit boring :s_bored:
  4. I just hope they don't get injured. Doesn't Rika already have/had a knee injury? Ow. And it doesn't look like 3As are rewarded unless you NEVER underrotate or fall on them, and judges don't shower you with GOEs unless you can do them with steps. It's not worth it... not yet :nah: Being consistent is more important right now Being consistent won't be enough to win and maybe even for a medal. Eteri's girls will backload everything and/or possibly try a quad in the LP. And even then Rika lost to Gubanova too before, so...she might actually need it. And it's better to try it now and get used to it rather than try it once you're a senior, that way you deal with that kind of pressure from the start. Imo it was important that she tried it already last season, because when she fell on it she had the strenght to do a good program after that anyway, which is not something so easy to do. I'm pretty sure they'll pay attention to her health, injuries are something you have to consider. Oh, maybe we'll get a small teaser? Even info on music and choreographer would be nice
  5. Allora io rilancio solo il "in entrata e in uscita" xD La federazione italiana? Per me non esiste
  6. Rika plans two 3A in Lp next year. 3A and 3A2T i guess. And yep, there was a video of her 4T (ur but it was after training it for 2 days) and I just saw a video of 3-3 with tano yesterday. Team Hamada is also great at polishing talent, so she definitely has huge potential. She has already improved so much since she was a novice. I have heard about the 2 3As next year I don't know what to feel about that though. I feel like this is a double-edge sword. But go big or go home I guess? since the russians are doing quads now (yikes). But she is quite complete imo. Now if she can stay healthy, and does not lose her 3A after puberty. she is a real threat to everyone. Add : I think rika not being age eligible for pyeongchang is a blessing in disguise. She can take her time to polish her jumps and presentation, without rushing and having all the pressure. I hope she won't focus so much on the 3A though. She has other many qualities beside that jump. I think trying two 3As now is fine, as long as they pay attention to her health. Eteri's girls will try quads after all. Yes I agree. She needs to improve when it comes to spins and transitions too. But I'm not too worried because Hamada seems pretty good at polishing talent.
  8. How old is Kinayo? Yuhana isn't very consistent either... I remember Yuna Aoki was practicing 3A some time ago, but she seems rather...lost these days.
Secondo me li fa.
  10. Rika plans two 3A in Lp next year. 3A and 3A2T i guess. And yep, there was a video of her 4T (ur but it was after training it for 2 days) and I just saw a video of 3lz3t with tano yesterday. Team Hamada is also great at polishing talent, so she definitely has huge potential. She has already improved so much since she was a novice. I wonder if she will go senior this season? Rika can't be senior this season, she was born in July 2002. Kaori is also training 3A.
  11. Sinceramente dubito salti i mondiali.
  12. Rika plans two 3A in Lp next year. 3A and 3A2T i guess. And yep, there was a video of her 4T (ur but it was after training it for 2 days) and I just saw a video of 3-3 with tano yesterday. 13. I've rooted for her since forever  I was so happy when Yuzu said he'd give her all +3s for her jumps  she needs more love.
  14. I expect him in JGP this season, it's one of the reasons why I'd watch Good body build to compensate I guess but even that's not eternal. He's not the only one, Nathan still has iffy landings, his poor hip. In that sense, Patrick's very much correct. I'll follow mainly ladies (Rika  ) but among men he's the one I'm interested in. Japanese men need new competitive juniors and I've waited for him to be eligible for a while now. I guess so. Yeah Patrick has great jumping technique (I doubt he'll do it but i'd love to see his 4F)...in general I wonder what Shoma/Nathan/Boyang's plans are long term.
  15. Yes, Shun is working on the 3A as far as I know. There was only that one time I think BESP uncles mentioned his many (or frequent?) injuries, I cannot now recall which comp that was but just because we don't hear of it, doesn't mean smaller ones aren't happening. When you look at the way he jumps, that is just not good for his body. At all. I mean I am sure he and his team know that, so if it's staying that way, then they have decided to go for it. I'm mostly concerned of any youngsters getting the idea that this is somehow something to emulate. Not to mention that ... fliploop thing. Yes, cameras help out a lot! Also photoshop but you know. I remember I was talking to a friend and mentioned his small jumps and he was so surprised I thought they were small, more convinced by the fancam but later he got to see him live and it was whoa, you were right! He likes his interpretation and this I agree with, though we both feel like he still has to create his own expression, but those jumps ... :whiteflag: His basic ss are quite good too, I do hope we'll see him in JGP next season, hopefully with a more stable 3A. Yes, minor ones I'm sure he has had, but still surprising that he has not had major ones, especially since he jumps a lot in practice. And considering that his technique is far from ideal I was even more surprised.
  16. It's a given, considering he makes less revolutions in air and more two-footed skating than others Oh bravo  But hey, it's the truth. If he doesn't already have injury problems, I'll eat my pretty summer hat. It's new too. As for the new guys coming up, I've really only focused on two, Sota and baby Shun. In general I tend not to get too attached to Juniors because injuries, puberty, etc but I cannot help it. Fingers crossed for Sota especially. Negl, I would really like to see him somewhere like Canada because I think it would help him. Yes more love for Shun :yay: (seems like he still struggles with the 3A tho) I do wonder about Shoma's injuries too...he's never had major ones right? That's quite surprising.
  18. How can you choose only two of them? It'd be difficult to choose five :whiteflag:
  19. It's a given, considering he makes less revolutions in air and more two-footed skating than others :rotfl:
  20. Totally agree about Wakaba. She doesn't get the pcs she deserves  I think she mentioned in an interview that she will likely keep the same choreographers, hopefully she'll have great programs. But mostly, it's her layout that needs to change. I think Kaori and Mai need to be polished a bit more, but they have wonderful jumps. Satoko is at risk imo.
  21. This  xD but I think we'll see many dramatic programs next season, so...probably not many abstract programs. I wonder what kind of interpretation he'll try to give for Winter (since for me there's just one Winter SP  ). Mostly, I wonder which kind of music Yuzu (and the ladies) will choose now.
  22. I'm in the minority too, but that's because I'm not a fan of tango in FS and I'm quite obstinate... Haha It's just that lady screaming in his music was quite shocking lol Milva was a trauma for me too...I got used to it, but I think the lack of transitions was my biggest problem lol Not a fan of tango in FS either, I don't think many skaters can pull it off tbh. I think Yuzu will choose something easier for the judges to understand lol they sure did not get H&L. I wonder what it could be though.
  23. Sota and Daisuke lower than Ryuju then? I get that they stayed out for injury but... :nah:
  24. Team Hamada isn't that powerful yet. If you look at the pcs at Japanese nationals this season the girls from Nagoya still got pretty high pcs, especially considering that their overall performances were not great. Hamada is rising through the ranks cause she has many talented girls now. Marin has the same agency as Miyu so probably that's part of the reason why she gets so much attention. And to be fair Japan had not had a junior world champion in a while among ladies (Kanako won in 2010 and was hailed as next Mao too)... Sara looks promising indeed.
  25. Nope nobody announced them yet. We know Satoko will get a new program in July (or both) and I think Marin said they had chosen the music already but no more. I expect someone will debut a new program at DoI but that's too far away. Maybe Sota will keep his? Since he never used them last year y.y Re: Shoma, his tango did not convince me, but I know I'm in the minority there xD
