  2. Aww.. former coach and student. At the Golden Moment benefit.
  3. Interview with Liza https://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/threads/cherniavskayas-interview-with-tuktamysheva-the-experience-of-not-making-the-olys-is-my-advantage.101828/
  4. If I'd been in the audience I would've probably cried. Seeing any skater go through that, ugh. These skaters are made of steel.
  5. I haven't really watched POTO from CoC2014 more than once or twice I think. So I don't think I'm particularly brave ^^; I can look at still photos or short gifs like this one though (though not ones of the more painful-looking moments).
  6. A helpful visual comparing the current max scores of each jump vs the new proposed system.
  7. A mention of Patrick in Mike Slipchuk's interview. http://pcskatingfan.com/2017/09/patrick-chan-news-09-10-2017/
  8. I don't understand what she's saying, but it's soothing to listen to her voice lol. There are also interviews of some of the other ladies on the same Youtube channel.
  9. Sep 13 (Wed) No Yuzu schedules programs, but the following FS-relates programs will be aired 10:10~10:25 Legend Program Rika Hongo CS TV Asahi 2 23:30~24:00 Kenji's Room Mihara and Sakamoto JSports4
  10. Seriously ISU (I don't think I can put enough facepalm emoticons here to express how I feel about this.) Everyone here has already made excellent points on why these ideas from the ISU are mostly total BS, so won't go into them again. I'm trying to imagine how a FS comp with separate technical and artistic segments would look like. Does it mean no music for the technical aspect? Similar to how it was for compulsary figures? (and we all know how that went). It puts into the mind the Aerial Figure Skating Competition that the US holds during the summer. I fell asleep watching that, no matter that some of the competitors were performing difficult combos, and the team captains even doing backflips! So yeah, I don't understand how this became one of the ideas ISU has for "making the sport popular again". And they must be considering it pretty seriously if they already mentioned it in an interview like this.
  11. Omg guys what happened while I was wasting time sleeping?? That Seimei UA run-through looks amazing! I've only watched the snippets because I'm traveling right now. But that spiral! Those jumps! Those spins! I can't wait to watch the full vid! Please Fuji TV don't block the videos... (hopefully somebody has already downloaded?)
  12. Hopefully when Alina settles more into the program it will resonate more with the audience. Really rooting for her to do well this season
  13. Have to admit, Zhenya's program was beautiful. I don't know if it was the music (though were those heartbeats at the start and beginning?), but it was really mesmerizing. Can't wait to see it live. And Liza looked great. Her jumps were the biggest. Alina looked good too but I think the program still has a lot of room to grow. Go Alina! Cheering for you!
  14. I hope it's fine if I include this here. I know most of us would like to avoid being reminded of CoC 2014 as much as possible, but I think this is one of the few videos snippets of the event that I can actually look at.
