    The only one I've seen is one he did at Glacier Falls. Maybe it's posted in our Team Japan forum. I'm not sure if he did any 4S during the FOI shows.

    I just realised we will be seeing his new costumes soon. And that ACI is coming soon... I'm having another moment of thumping heart right now. What! When? Where?!!

    I think Shoma will test out both the 4S and the 4Lz this season, and see which works better for him. In an interview he gave earlier this off-season, he said he's still undecided which to add. So I guess we'll be seeing both at some stage in the coming comps.

    Sometimes it just feels like the judging panel think the viewing public is stupid. It's like they don't think we have eyes of our own, and are not knowledgeable enough to see what good skating really looks like. Probably jumping to conclusions, but I can almost see some of them laughing to themselves knowing they can pretty much do anything and damn if there's anyone watching because we're powerless to do anything anyway. That thought is what really gets me angry sometimes

    The problem is, there is no accountability at all it seems. I know they do some sort of score review after the competition, but do they actually talk about anything useful during these sessions?

    Too bad the American judge's score for the PCS (he seemed to be the sanest one there too) probably all got thrown out and didn't count lol.

    Yes, now that I think about it, Nathan seemed to be focusing more on his presentation today. Tbh, I liked his performance more than Shoma's, though yes I noticed too he was slow. I guess he's still trying to adjust to working with the more complicated choreography and more jumps in the 2nd half. So far, I like his program though.

    These videos provide quite good explanations on the various elements making up the PCS score. It's a sizeable collection of videos, but it's interesting because it helps understand what good quality transitions, skating skills, interpretation, etc. look like. (Now can we send these to the judges...)
