I thought I don't have any Christmas wishes, however, after watching Yuzuru's 27th Birthday PH Party, I admit I easily and selfishly find 27 things I picture for an ideal next Yuzuru competition. I disagree on this one. Rondo Capriccioso doesn't fit Otoñal programm for me. You did a great job though! Yuzuru skating to lyrical piano music is a perfect match and hence, the character of both pieces is similar (in your edit), his flow, soft mouvements and musical breathing (hope you know what I mean) fit both. But he underlines so many musical details that, for me, Otoñal doesn't work with another music than Otoñal. I 'm not speaking about the big accentuations we see in (almost) everyone's interpretations, but Yuzuru's ability to for example increase movements to musical highlights even though it's not a jump (White legend 2021), or to do casually some easy steps exactly to the rhythm (first four steps of Olympic PW), or his mastery of final pose absolutely on point. Otoñal as a more quiet one is full of subtle, very musical movements. I love it, and maybe I just can't seperate the music from the performance. So for me: only new SP of Yuzuru to new Rondo Capriccioso cut.

Surely, world has changed since then. If only he can go there and have fun!

Questions of DECEMBER 2021

I didn't have the time nor did I feel like watching Rostelecom. First snow in the lowlands in my country - winter is coming and I try to warm my heart by the image of Yuzu cooling down in the rink. How I hope he was in the rink today! Thank you so much for the banners in Sochi everyone!

@YuzuSkating_IsTheTruth @yuzuangel I love the crane idea for the current situation. How about a costume-neutral one like this from la gaia (our fellow satellite?)? Unique one, subtle color, pretty, symbolic. Yuzuru shines in our hearts.

THIS. I cringe each time a skater falls during competition. I fell in septembre while jogging on slippery steep terrain and was subsequently immobile for nine days. Since I am a Fanyu, I really had no reason to complain about one single fall in years. Which was not even on ice notabene . Kudos to every skater going into those jumps and standing up again! Might it be the Axel for Yuzu or any other jump for his competitors. Ice is always slippery. Watching beautiful landings, I tend to forget that.

If Yuzuru really wants to coach, I see him more as a jump coach or choreographer who gives advice in special classes over the world. @Henni147 There is another reason why I doubt coaching would be satisfying for Yuzuru. As a teacher myself, I need the satisfaction of accompanying pupils who will surpass me by miles in the future. To see their abilities unfold and to know their (and my) efforts lead to bigger accomplishments than I can ever reach. But Yuzuru is the best. Is there anyone who could reach him, even when being taught by the master himself? Anyone at all with his dedication, hard working attitude and perseverance for figure skating?
