I listen to Yuzuru's new SP music these days, picturing some elements here and there. Anyone with me? With the lower staccato chords that segue from introduction into rondo, I can totally see some backward crossrolls. It's too fast though.

That's possible of course, but I don't think so. With two or more years working for 4A without any landing, he must have felt this amount of frustration earlier than now. He prefers the Axel over the Flip, assumably that applies for the work on it too. But he said the Axel training helped him with the other jumps (I don't remember in which aspect), so maybe 4F is now easier to accomplish than some years ago. Perhaps he did it just by the way, because, train to land (high standard) two new jumps in one season... Yes, I know, he is Yuzuru Hanyu. So why not. There is always the risk of a fall. However, he will attempt it only when he is comfortable with his minimalization of that risk. It may be a bigger issue now. I don't think the 4A he will show can be UR. That's a point where Yuzuru is very strict with himself. I suppose he feels like if it's UR, his jump isn't worth to be shown in competition. I am curious if it's possible to discern the additional rotation with the naked eye when Yuzu is able to land a 4A as beautifully as 3A.

My imagination runs wild, joke ahead... Other skaters with 4F: Yes, pretty hard work, but I finally did it. Next year, my 4F will be really nice. Ah yes, Yuzuru is training 4A, I know, he is crazy. What?? Now he does 4F, too? Sh**, I hoped people would admire at least one of my jumps!

Not black for new SP costume, because I am still confident that we will see LMEY in Beijing Gala 2022. Not red either for a piano piece. I love dark colors on Yuzu, they look so powerful. For Ten to Chi to, I think he changes the costume color a little bit. Well, that's only my personal preference of course. But the costumes will be SPARKLY, yess! Isn't it awesome that we can look forward to every (new) thing of Yuzu's next competition? For example, we would overlook mediocre costumes if they hadn't been one of Yuzuru's strong points so far. But honestly, is there anything we expect to not be delighted with? As long as he shows up healthy, obviously.

Aaah, rollercoaster height in the early morning for me! Thank you everyone for the news! I like the music choice. Almost sang along on the train to work, missed the bus and walked (and sang). Imagining Yuzuru's spins to the music runs is great. And 4F..? Wow. Never ever underestimate Mr. Hanyu. I really thought that might be another goal for him, but only hoped he would go for it after 4A. Remember Yuzu's cute press con statement about the 6 quads? The "King of quads" sitting next to him quite desinterested... Well, maybe there will soon circulate the title "Emperor of quads". Yes, the work behind this and the disappointement for now must be enormous. Impossible effort for ordinary people. Get well soon, Yuzuru! Thank you @sweetwater very much for the clarification! I like to learn about which element strains which part of the body the most and I find it more interesting than the anger about some inappropriate (twisted) words.

Once upon a time I was told that being a Fanyu is riding a rollercoaster. That was a looping, right? So there is only one direction to go now: upwards. I expecially feel with those who overcame many obstacles to go to see Yuzuru live, but how hard it must be for Yuzuru himself. If it helped, we would send poohs to any hospital he wants us to, we would try not to scream when he finishes a performance, we would restrain our criticism towards stylists of CMs... It doesn't help. How about fighting ourselves then... Probably everyone of us has something she/he evaded long enough, avoids to do but should, or defers purposely. How about getting this done during NHK? That's when things must be the hardest for Yuzu now. We want him to fight against frustration and to work for the healing process of his ankle. So let's fight and work too! One step after another, believe in everything - take whatever Yuzu-motto you need. Fighting a bit with him may rise our spirit and hope again. We are with you, Yuzuru, you can do it!

It's THE chance for them to definitely lose their hair. Imagine seeing your student the first time after eight+ months and he goes and does this... Yeah, he still is your student.

I don't think he will close the season with NHK, because beside the hard work and new program, he cares for us, too.

We have to rename Nessie when it clearly appears. What was the most favorite suggestion again? Sorry, already thinking about side effects. Perhaps I want to ignore the thought of the hundreds of falls which preceded this only jump.

Feeling the same as everyone here. It's okay, if I wanted to relax, I wouldn't have joined this forum. We won't be able to catch up with discussing music, costume, SP, layout, jump and so on. He might even prepare two different layouts. And as much as I wish to see Ten to Chi to with this glorious success, it's a pity that there will be the sacrifice of another beautiful jump in this program. Anyway, hey, cacti, the watering will be a flooding!

I remember crying so badly when he announced in August 2020 that he will skip the GP series. He had such a bad time, yet every crumb was a sunray for us and continues to be. I feel guilty to put pressure on him.

This one was the should-be-world-record run through. Ugh, falling in love again!

By the way, after Nam's interview, I'm concerned to hear about the increasing number of skaters who went through / go through a really bad time for their mental health. It's good to hear they got help. Covid and the upcoming Olympics are taking their toll. (If my english wording isn't appropriate, it is unintentionally, please look over it.) Yuzu please, stay confident, healthy and happy in your lonely work cave! We are looking forward to seeing you, whatever you decide to skate.

Okay, I know I'm biased. Regarding White Legend: I thought the music in Yuzu's programs contribute a great deal for moving me to tears, but after Nam's performance, I see it's definitely the beauty of Yuzu and of his skating 2021 to White Legend that evokes that effect, not the music.
