  1. I...actually don't want to know? Because if we don't know, maybe the amount of people waiting for him at the airport will be smaller, since nobody will be sure when and where should they wait... (oh who I want to joke, our dedication isn't that weak to be diffused by such deception :D) @SidneyH thanks for bringing that up I was doing so well with battling my anxiety before tomorrow's flight -,-'' I sincerly hope that since it's Japan with their planes being basically the cheapest means of transportation, they will also have like, bazillion counterplans in case of any problems with the machine, none of them including 'just pray'.
  2. xD That brings back the memory of when I read the x-monster's post about lines in figure skating, where she apoogised since her examples were all screenshots and I still wanted to save each and every of them, because How.The.Heck.You.Make.It.Look.So.Graceful
  3. TAT being savage like that xD Actually, I'm pretty sure the pair practicing their routine right after are either Pair or Ice Dancers, a I don't recall other artistic sports with mixed disciplines-that being said, he's the only one on the ice! Random thought but it's just the skating gods making sure he has to stay for one more year to win anything and everything, and avoid his usual trolling... though I doubt he would troll us about that so...damn you, skating gods! i NEEDED TO SEE THAT PURPLE COMPARISION, THANK YOU! Also, happy birthday to Brian! I'm sorry, I know you meand 3rd floor, but my first thought was "What's a Triple Flip ticket?" Oh, god... Actually, I probably should put it in the general skating chat but, does he really have the best posture? Because balletic posture is something that for me translates to elegant strength, not to stiffness in the back I feel from Nate when he isn't in his StSeq...I'm sorry... Lol, they should have let the boy skate three times in three different groups and choose the best performance then xD just kidding I know the stamina isn't that light matter... plus the Men in Japan were crazy deep back then.
  4. Ok, we keep saying his Kuyashii will explode on the next comp he will do (4cc or no4cc?), but, like. The fans. The Poohrain. I know we used some of the cheering power on our other faves, but we have saved Yuzu Cheer Power from the three comps he usually takes part in. Can you imagine the Extra the stands will unleash once he enters the rink?
  5. *pout* why do people always look only on the left side of the picture? *Looks to the time it was first posted* Oh, okay, nobody ever translated The final picture (right-side lowermost) is actually saying something along the lines of "try to get out now, slowly" near Brian and "iso iso" which I assume is onomatopeia for careful movement near Yuzu. (or my misreading of izo izo, which would mean good, good -,-' #weakJapaneseproblems) Runrun is actually complimenting Yuzuru's character development since the 2016 (left side) where he would try to get out of timeout box too quickly, and have to be watched by Brian, while right now he actually stays in the box when Brian isn't looking over him, and tries to get out only with his coaches watchful eye on him. In any way, it's absolutely adorable. Plus a good luck charm if Yuzu IS actually starting his on-ice rehab now!
  6. Isn't that what Chopin's beginning is about (and about what Japanese photographer wrote? :D) Adding to the congrats! The star wars is actually VERY in place after Yuzu's footage...I mean, look at the final group in men's event! (Shameless paraphrasing boyang is shameless) 100% sure he could with a little more sponsors, build the whole house for himself, tbh. Actually, That's one of the fakest ad I've seen him in, and I've seen all the Xylitol ones, so...still would probably buy...
  7. Nononono, he's just sad he wasn't quicker than the racoon to get to the TCC and now out of spite for Raccoon invents all those stories to excuse why this obviously worse animal than him got to see Yuzu before him. ... Yes this rabbit is Lady 4F's pet...
  8. SPILL THIS ATROCITY AWAY RIGHT THIS MOMENT Seriously, tho, that would mean it wasn't a ligament injury but a complete tear, which is operation-material. In that case, as @¯\_(ツ)_/¯has said, no way he will let that hold him back from PC ice...and no way we will know that until random interview in a year or two/when they will make some kind of medallist presentation and add a notice about Yuzu being absent due to undertaking said operation, a'la Worlds 15 team announcement (y,know, the one with one operation and one retirement...)
  9. I guess that's why Tracy refused offer to commentate for Olys. Woman has a 6th sense, I tell you! (Is Jun Hwan on the entry list for 4cc? If so, I could understand the wondering about whether Yuzu will ask to go there or not- 'y'know one more one less skater, that's not even the problem for you anymore, Brian' :D)
  10. My reaction was similar, plus, from the documentaries of that time, he already had the Stare of LongingTM even though he technically DIDN'T compete in that category yet, so winning that would be chotto... xD (just checked said documentary, he was twelve yo, so it was only a year before he moved up to Juniors to claim his trophy) EDIT: Also, I checked that PIW'11 Etude and the effect on it in few angles is the same as in the fancam of Nebelhorn. Also, fuk the choreography, I want that 3A in there was a thing already...T.T
  11. Shoma stayed to compete with Boyang over jWC, the only title he hasn't won over him. Opposite to Yuzu, who at 15 has won everything, as in EVERYTHING there was to be won in Junior. So yeah, JSF has a say but since Skaters have their own brains (as Tatsuki 'whoops I retired without saying anything to officials' Machida reminded everybody of) it's mostly their and their team's decision. For example Yuzu's fellow jWC Murakami was actually scared of going into Seniors but her team sat her down and said 'okay, but WHAT are you going to do in Juniors now, you've won everything' and she kind of went with it. Curious thing-after his win in Novice A category, Yuzu got invited to compete in Juniors. He placed 3rd there (which is amazing for me since Novice compete only with the long which means Yuzu was prepared to skate the short just in case he would win and get invited to higher level comps, and of course he did) and because of that he actually couldn't go to Senior Nats (1-3 placements from lower categories gets automatic invitation to the one higher), bc wtf, how do you let Novice skate in Senior event lolz. It's not off topic, it's Yuzu-topic. Share some with me, may they cleanse me as well (I need to check if we don't have Sephora nearby...)
  12. Thank You, Matsuoka-san! That reminds me of the most important summary of the pressure, by yours dearly beloved: You know, it's hard to hear somebody from behind psychiatric clinic walls, because the people who believe Japan has two other men Shoma's level to even SLIGHTLY endanger Yuzu's position as the absolute must-go-to-Olys athlete can be found only there. Like, seriously, haters, find some glasses, or at least look at the World Ranking/Record and all the other WRs (and goats, cuz they cute) you find in FS, and try to repeat this statement with a straight face. I guess if you manage to do so, You probably cannot read Random Rapunzel AU bunny, BEGONE. (I guess my mind supplies me with methods to keep myself busy up front...) Guys, I'm gonna cry salty tears, not for Boston, but for you, if you keep doing that... OPERATION POOH UNDERCOVER FINISHED SUCCESSFULLY. Short Report: Our agents infiltrated the Disney HQ and overtook the new products management to provide us with suitable pooh cover covers. More info in the full report But that would kind of kill FS, because nothing after that would ever be as wholesome as it. Not even Adam's singing could top it, nor Misha's ex. NOTHING. Oh wait, there is one thing, but I mention that with a self combust warning to people with good imagination, AND THAT WOULD MEAN THE BEST END OF FS EVER: Yuzuru skating an Ex in a Pooh costume. Idea was discussed in the General Skating chat few(teen) pages ago and we got to a conclusion it wouldn't happen due to few sad reasons (including need to cut competition's time, ISU preferring to self-destruct instead of saving FS, etc.) Teach me your ways, master. I mean, EIGHT seasons like the secont half of previous and beginning of this year? EIGHT long Years of staying his fan while behaving like a remotely normal working human being? No way. I mean, I WILL get there... eventually. This would be the most black humoresque-ish final for his struggles with the first half of this season I could ever imagine-scratch it I CAN'T imagine it. Those things happen only in cartoons. And while I'm pretty sure even raccoon will falter in face of the power (I hope). And if all else falters, there's still and that's some god intervention, tbh.
  13. Heeeere goes cute! Less than 5, but again, I think @Katt has posted that this interviewer has tendency to twist words? He definitely aimed for a s*storm with that, and Nate just suffered by not being managed by the team that checks the interviewers before allowing the interview to happen. Still, ten points isn't decisive for Overlord...remember, the first tie he uttered this Zettai Oujia, he was 1st with almost 50(!) points gap from the second place, and Boyangs scores at the time were more or less accurate... I love the coincidences like those, especially when people find them for me xD *lazy mode on* Also, another good thing? We have so many lurker satelites de-lurking! Also, excuse my posts from the last few days-if they're funny, that's okay, but I'm feeling like I let my fever take over my keyboard at least few times, and produced stupid/unproductive posts...
  14. Strong neglect of everything ahead- might be paprika-level offensive... Ok, now I am surprised I only thought of it now (and that I am the first) but maybe we should stay hopeful and wish that it is yet another level for Trollzuru Hanyu, who previously (albeit in a bad taste) trolled the world insisting he wasn't injuried while skating with said injury(ies, actually. On numerous ocassions... Yuzuuu -,-'). And since he started to reverse the trend this season he also decided to troll everybody with worry only to actually participate and blow everybody's mind with the size of his kuyashii pile... and then look at us innocently and say 'pain? What pain? Oh, but it was almost two weeks ago!' I know he's not THAT mean, but hey, girl can hope, right? >.< I take anything if that means he's going to be happy and fine and ready for the great stage.
  15. I was wondering what caused mt Irene explosion and oh... Well, しょうがないな. I guess we should be really grateful to our realistic (and mathematically gifted-I'm glad sb reminded us that it's still rehab time according to prognosis) and more experienced satelites for keeping us from imploding. Personally I love @WinForPooh's point about WD just before jNats being a good thing, meaning he was really close to regaining his footing.(aka he would be training full throtle from say, beginning of January, which is a plenty time to leak I guess) Also if we're going woth the whole second off season parallel, there is a lot of B competitions to choose from to becom3 his second ACL and I don't believe any organiser would refuse TCC has it reached out, asking to let one of their top athletes go to their comp... I still do not guarantee lack of comfort writing...
  16. Actually, while not being indefeated, it reminds me of Yuzuru's scores in his first year with Brian, where he obviously connected with SP (god bless Jeff Buttle), but had problems with executing LP with similar devotion (okay, devotion was there, it was stamina that was lacking...anyway, you know what I mean). To a lot it was actually considered a stepback from the Etude&RJ1 mix, right? And then it was also always go forth in the SP, flop the FP, which shocked him since he was previously known as FP comebacker... Wish Nathan didn't decide to go for this type of evolution in the Olys year, though x'D. Still, if this parallel is actually correct, we might see some nice skating from Nathan in a year or two
  17. Mine's not. Good thing I have busy week ahead of me, then the week in which I need to get to airport without getting lost (pray for miracle...), and then I'll be back home, which means I will be freaking my family out by getting up at six or so to watch th stream then help with preparations for the Christmas (depending on Yuzu and the rest state at Nats, I'll be a zombie or a floating ball of fluff...)
  18. I think the point made here, and points made in the posts before mine are all (obviously) correct. I actually feel a bit sad for the sQuad kids... say, when Yuzu was in Shoma's position, it wasn't until like his third year in Seniors that he was really deemed new ace/threat to the ace. Sure, he was new upcoming talent since the beginning, but thanks to the Great Three wall at the top of Men, he was exactly what was the best for him at the time-upcoming, challenger to the top, that, step by step, became the top-when he broke through the top three to outscore Nobu, there still was Daisuke and Taka as an older and more experienced skaters to challenge (and kind of get guidance from? At least in dorkiness...). Contrary to that, Shoma got threwn into position of a new ace/threat to the ace practically since his first year in Seniors, with the terryfying prospect that it IS only him and Yuzuru at the top(which translates into ONLY HIM in a future-not inviting idea for competitive skater tbh...). It makes me wonder if it was easier for Shoma had he decided to go to Seniors this one year earlier, where he would compliment the Great Three with Yuzu and Machida, instead of being thrown into the draught of men's field that is held together in highest regard only thanks to Yuzu... The same on the international field- Javi is a veteran, so in his younger years he got to compete on the same ice as some of the skating legends, and then during his and Yuzu's breakthrough years, the top of the world was Patrick and Takahashi, both with incredible PCS quality that made them stand out, showing youngsters (okay, only Yuzu can be called that, sorry, Javi :D) that quads aren't everything, MAKING the people actually compare the amount of quality of the inbetween, while at the same time admitting jumping prowess of the younger gen... ...That actually would mean, that Yuzu, Patrick and Javi are part of the Golden Age of FS, because they HAD TO connect jumping ability (the only thing they had upper hand in against their elders) with the skating quality (so as to not stand out from the older skaters too much in terms of PCS and GOEs). The Gen after them is either bound to go the same way (deveop all at once with slight pressure on their stronger points, aka jumps, a'la Boyang) or admit defeat and focus on the quantity factor that seems to bring in the 'wow' factor their elders (lol) gain through the SS... poor guys. Goddamnit, I wasn't supposed to write a textwall... It makes me angry tbh. How the near perfect POTO got only two points more than this year's lackluster, with all due respect to Nate and his number of quads? (I'm trying to excuse it to myself with Yuzu not feeling well, and not projecting enough to earn higher PCS, but...ugh, it's hard to find believable excuses...) SPIT IT OUT! SPIT THIS ATROCITY OUT RIGHT NOW BEFORE YOU GET PAPRIKA POISONING! ...It is only my elephant-stepped-on-it ear, or does he DO sound like the Junior Yuzu? Anyway, cute that our overlord keeps inspiring
  19. Oh my, so much good content! And Yuzuru is 23 for 28 minutes in my timezone right now, so Happy Birthday!May all red veggies be the tomatoes from now on till forever And all that glitter would be gold (OR become one...) Actually, for people recalling Prince of Tennis series-there is that mobile beat game with the songs from the characters, series, etc, and it just started it's event this week, releasing event song that's based after Christmas songs, but the first thought I had after seeing/listening to it was...'wuut, isn't that Yuzuru's birthday's week theme song?' spoiler for those interested...sorry for the quality and the fantom pain your fingers will experience.
  20. Good to hear I'm not alone in my fantasies! It's the fault of the people inventing Emperor Hanyu and his court ladies-this would be SUCH A GOOD FANART. Also, I blame my CCS reread on this.
  21. Oh, I should have posted this part here...gotta delete it from the gen chat. As for the charity talk, can we keep this as an alternative to buying out ads spaces, and keep the well-wishes projects as well? I remember my sister donating to the shelter, then offering the receipt of that donation as the equivalent of the flowers to her promotor (because she loved cats), but that was a replacement for wasting money on expensive bouquet that would wilt in a few days. I'm pretty sure the well wishes won't wilt this easily...or we could do crowdfunding for the projects, since I'm SURE printing out banner HAD TO cost quite a lot...same with the books, etc... This way, younger fans/fans who are struggling with gathering money for living/ fans that would otherwise have to chose between donating to the projects and buying the ticket to a competition could still participate in the birthday projects without feeling guilty about not donating/donating not enough. Same with charity-people not trusting/unable to do charity because of certain (health or other)conditions (blood donors cannot be anaemiac, and I am, for example) could still find a way to support the skater they wish to support^^
  22. Guys, how...just...how do you do it I used to post like, one post max, mostly without any opinion to share, and yet, here I am, quoting half of you, wanting to add my three cents...you're the best. *Watch out for Yuzu!Triggers, there is some in the spoiler...* Gods, I love how branched out the talk here has become, and yet, how it is still connected to Yuzuru in a way^^
  23. Holy shit, Adam really is a Drama King, to be able to somehow skate after any of those collisions... (In the one with Patrick it looked like he slid on the ice on his face for quite a bit tbh...) I actually knew about Takahiko and Daisuke collision, and I love their answers in regards to it-Taka openly admitting it was kind of his fault, and Daisuke reassuring both his AND Taka's fans that both of them are/seem to be fine. There was one collision also at Yuzuru's first Nationals as a Senior (cannot forget it, thanks, Zigeunerweisen), where I think, he skated into Mura? They were joking about it afterwards, though... I would ask Kaeryth if she knows any footage of it, but it's not too pleasant of a topic... ETA: Unless it was NdP strawberry...?
  24. Shouldn't we also send that to ISU and all the people saying FS is dying? 'Yeah yeah, look at it, it's the fans of just one skater!'<-and there is so many Poohs in America and Canada, too! (though Mexico is still more yellow ) I can't believe I'm using 'just' in reference to Yuzu... Hydro, again from all of us to you...
