  1. I don't think it's either. He always used to do a Biellmann during his free skates, and the last time (if I'm not wrong), was in Hope & Legacy. Then in 2018-2019 he went onto Origin 1.0 and 2.0 and I can't see that spin working in either of those versions because of the type of music and the power-driven choreo. It can also just simply be because he wanted to switch up his programs and do different stuff. While his hydroblade and Ina Bauers are his trademark moves, I don't think he will use them until the end of his career. Switching up things is also important, otherwise, programs become predictable and monotonous over the years.
  2. @Henni147, yep, that's the one. True. I'll only believe in his participation once I see him on the ice ready to skate He feels too much like a fairy tale, right now. I need to see to believe, and even if I see, I might think I went crazy and still wouldn't believe it.
  3. So, Social media is going crazy because Waseda released a poster confirming that 5 of their students, including Yuzu would participate in the nationals. Did I miss something? Has Mr. Hanyu confirmed this himself? I don't believe anyone until he confirms it himself.
  4. Jeezuz, it's like "I-don't-give-a-flying-pig" fest for them. I wish skaters would actually have the common sense to withdraw, scream boycott, even though I know it's practically impossible with the pressure they will receive from the federation and sponsors.
  5. I'm actually amazed that people can go back to full training so soon after recovering from COVID and claiming they would be back to competition. I haven't had it myself (as far as I know) but my mum did and even after 2 months she sometimes finds herself out of breath doing things that were easier for her pre-COVID, apart from still not tasting or being able to smell anything. She is tough as a horse, so this state can only be attributed to having had COVID.
  6. Just shows that arrogance doesn't take you anywhere.
  7. Got a bit excited writing that message, @Geo1? Sorry to hear about what you've been through @Henni147. It's never easy to lose someone special but I'm glad you found something that helped you heal little by little.
  8. You can, you can. It's just that as soon as I opened the link I felt like I needed to put on my sunglasses You see? I'm not a colourful person. My wardrobe consists of white, grey and black
  9. Sorry, changing topics now, and sorry if this is not the right thread. Anyone who lives in the UK knows where I could buy leg warmers for skating, the ones with the wider bottom to pull over the skates? My legs always freeze up, it's too damn cold in the ice rink I always go too Or maybe someone knows about a good online shop that ships internationally?
  10. I seriously need to apply for that student visa in Japan just to be able to see Yuzu being advertised everywhere on a daily basis. And I need to safe up some money too.
  11. He did land it, was quite a bit of time ago though. Another one here who agrees that Nathan trying out the 4A is very unlikely when his 3A is not as consistent as other skaters'. You can't attempt something more complicated when your foundation isn't as great yet, that is why Brian wanted Yuzu to improve his skating skills when he started at TCC
  12. Watching things like this gives me an ulcer and makes me a very bitter person
  13. Sorry, you had to just go there and I had to look it up
  14. Oof, just imagine the step sequence with Flight of the Bumblebee
  15. Let's say it's Unravel (which I don't believe is the case), I'd assume it would be a piano version. Jeff said it's a different direction from Chopin so I don't think it's a piano version of anything, but for the life of me I can't picture Yuzu skating to the full band version.
  16. @yuzuoniceNo clue hahah I know he usually leaves the most difficult jumps for the FS but who knows... everything's possible @At Jeff saying he misses Yuzu: Awww
  17. Well, in my eyes, that is better than nothing
  18. Already added all of them into my calendar with alarms 😎 Thank you for your hard work, guys!
  19. A better translation of "Con ganas de verte" would be "I want to see you.", I'd say. It's an implication of missing someone. "I want to see you because I miss you".
