Miku Makita (Canadian ice dancer) named her dog "Yuzu"?
-
Apparently they removed Yuzuru's name from the Waseda document. Schroedinger's graduation is back At this point, I would assume that it is because the ceremony hasn't happened yet. No way Waseda got it wrong twice in a few months...
-
It's at 10M now
-
Yuzu is named in a Waseda document among "noticeable" (representative) graduates. I guess the graduation status is official now. Congratulations!!!
-
It's totally cursed. Allow me to cleanse your eyes with a little white wall fanart. #TeamWhiteWall
-
Olympic Seimei is less than 10K views from 10M! Almost there, almost
-
I think most fanyus get the white wall. But I've seen other people get "Italian Yuzuru" (which was a hilarious fake Italian version of Yuzu on Twitter), Stephane's cat program, and "Eggzuru" (don't ask, Twitter is a weird place at times).

I got the white wall, haha.

So, it's part of an art train. If you click on the hashtag, you'll see that many fanartists drew the same screenshot from Ciontu. They even translated the prompt in English so oversea fans could participate. I did one too. Art trains are so fun

Do they expect skaters to swim to Australia? There won't be any international flights by then

That part seems true. The fact that it's a smaller discount than Jordan's code makes it a bit strange though...

And now Nagashima from JSF is supportive of Yuzuru's decision? https://twitter.com/nagashima21/status/1300021589040271363?s=19 Here is the statement and automatic translation since it can't be embedded right now: あいきょさんの仰るとおりです。羽生選手ご本人にとっても苦渋の決断でした。考え抜いた立派な判断だったと思います。連盟としても、ご本人の判断を尊重させていただきました。 "As Aikiyo says. It was a difficult decision for Hanyu himself. I think it was a well-thought-out decision. The Federation will respect the judgment of the individual." Eta: He actually distanced himself from casino-guy. (I personally don't care about trolls, but a reaction from JSF is another story) https://twitter.com/nagashima21/status/1300058709318537216?s=19

Over 100 millions?? I know he is famous in China but... Who even needs humility with numbers like that??? (Petty me thinking about the ISU bragging about a few million *impressions*, with paid ads)
-
The guy has some connections to Nagashima (head of JSF who's not Yuzuru's biggest fan) but he's not part of JSF himself. Honestly it's most likely some weird attention grabbing stunt. Best is to ignore the guy, he wants attention for his casino or whatever. Saying fans would come to see him is allegedly not humble enough. It's just facts that he attracts crowds. Antis are reaching so far they'll pull a muscle.

I wish federations & sponsors would fully support their athletes (not just the top ones) in these trying times so they could take the decision without being coerced but it's not really going to happen, is it?
-
Announcing his withdrawal in advance also won't allow anyone to use his name to sell tickets. I don't know if it's on purpose, but good for fans not to be tempted.
-
I'm proud of Yuzuru for staying true to himself. It can't have been an easy decision. Thank you for considering how it affects others. How does this impact the qualifications for nationals? I hope JSF will adapt to these unusual circumstances 🙏

Worlds 2021 seems to have lost a sponsor: Kose is no longer listed as a partner on their website. I'm not going to make assumptions as for the reasons in these crazy times but after Canon & Citizen, it's the 3rd company to back out. It can't be good for the organizers. Eta: well, they actually have another sponsor listed that wasn't there before. Kagocel, which is apparently a Russian antiviral drug. That's.... a choice in the current situation.
