  1. Glad to see more Yuzu content before worlds...and interesting comparisons. And Ambesi interpreted as next season too, although he’s a super fan so he may be viewing it optimistically too.
  2. I would think at this point, Yuzu would have to decide season by season about continuing and worlds is still almost 3 months away. Like everyone else, I’m hoping he continues. If able, I think he will come back since he still seems he has personal goals to achieve and this year proved his skating was getting better!!! Reading about his PC Olympic struggle and And while we wait for his Worlds return and future, this MAD seemed fitting.
  3. Can someone translate this, NHK 2012. Yuzu looks so happy.
  4. Speaking of Javi, since he’s going to TCC to train for Euros, Yuzu and Javi reunion? Would love to see some of that training footage.
  5. Brian-I couldn’t agree with you more.
  6. A walk down memory lane and wonderful way to wrap up the year. Rest well and heal Mr. Hanyu- everything from now on will just be a bonus.
  7. LOL the 2 OGM over fireplace As for FaOI, super happy for Sendai!!! Also, I would be fine with him skating without the big jumps like he did in Continues. HYK had only limited jumps (no triple axel or quad) and I loved it. I mean geez, I watch this practice video (too many times to count) ... Finally, can’t wait for Origin costume article to be translated. I’m sure a Fanyu is on it now?
  8. You know you’re a Yuzu fan when you don’t have to fact check this...we already know... @ZuCritter nicely done
  9. Is there a way to delete a post completely? Is hidden the only option, and if so is hiding them a prob for admins? Thanks
  10. Oh no. I’m feeling the 84 day drought to Worlds...
  11. Wow! When you see it in timeline form it has been an exciting and wonderful year- except for the injury. I wish everyone a Happy 2019 and Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays!
  12. IMO-This actually shows how innovative and influential Yuzu has been to figure skating. War horses and western music seemed to dominate the sport for years and Yuzu decides Japanese music works just as well (and can set records).
  13. I think I enjoyed that a bit too much
  14. This video is so sweet. Yuzu and Javi were true competitors not rivals. Whenever they lost, they were very gracious to the winner but disappointed in themselves. The loss was always their own doing which probably makes the wins even sweeter. The smile and laugh at the end is the best!
  15. Great banner! I hope everyone in Planet Hanyu the best new year!
  16. I think this was Dai’s farewell in Japan and I’m glad he got the opportunity. I think not having the spotlight, Shoma did well too so win-win. If you watched JNats- banners for DISK were crazy. He can’t compete internationally based on TES unless he has at least one consistent quad IMO.
  17. @micaelis but I agree, theoretically speaking— freakin awesome showdown (for PCS that is )
  18. ON YUZURU: “HE’S NOT READY TO JUST RIDE THE WAVE. HE’S TRYING TO CREATE WAVE” Couldn’t have said it better myself.
  19. In line with jump analysis, I did find this. Analysis at 1:00 (height 69cm, length 315cm). I’M PRETTY SURE I NEVER WANT TO SEE YUZU PERFORM THIS JUMP AGAIN! But it was a thing of beauty...
  20. Do we know who is covering worlds? Asahi seems to cover the internationals but not 100% sure?
  21. JNats new tech to measure jump is kinda cool. Anyone know if any of Yuzu performances this year was analyzed? Helsinki or COR?
  22. Thanks ! They both seem so relaxed when they high five. After the tension throughout the Olympic season, per Brian, this is nice to see.
