I agree KPOP can be a hard life, but they start young and unknown , get their training paid for, so have to pay back to the company to some degree. Not sayin it’s a good system at all- many flaws. However, if Jun can make a name for himself in figure skating, he will have plenty of entertainment opportunities without similar hardships. Agree he has all the goods, eg looks and height ( big in Korea), and his bronze in GPF made lots of traction in major news stations. AND He’s the FIRST male figure skater in Korea with future Olympic potential. I am in Yuzu mode right now, but Jun’s got so much potential- fun to watch.

I love how Brian has such a great attitude towards Yuna Kim breakup. I think he has really high hopes for Jun as he matures and so do I.

Can I suggest that we all think about how we can survive through this three months drought til Worlds. I am confident this forum can do it. @LadyLouI appreciate and like where you were going with thinking about what we love about Yuzu and focusing on that. Your posts are very insightful. Maybe everybody can post their favorite fan video or their favorite gif. I would appreciate all and any positive energy in Yuzu’s direction. Maybe if we only think about the positive that “push” Yuzu forward with strength, just like he said about his supporters during the Olympics in 2018, we will see something amazing in the future. Just sayin.

I personally don't really care whether he adds the 4A (I know he wants it and if it happens great, but I'd prefer him healthier and continuing to skate). I do hope he gets the 4Loop back so he can add back the 4Toe-3A. I would imagine it burns a little that he got a negative GOE for one of his signature EX jumps- although it was a thing of beauty in an actual competition.

Regardless of whether he does 4CC or on to Worlds, maybe team trophy-->If and I really hope -when- he returns next season, I hope he repeats Origin. I need to see him in that black sparkler in many more performances!

I hope he takes all the time he needs. I was thinking about how incredible his performances were in Helsinki and Russia, continuing to improve his performances from previous years- Yuzu still has so much to offer in terms of advancing the sport, but he needs a healthy R ankle. In my opinion, he still has more records he wants to break-like breaking 200 in the free which can’t happen at JNats (scores don’t count towards WR.) I do feel his frustruation since it’s his home country and he’s missed the previous 2 yrs, but he gave Japan 2 OGMs-he’s earned the right to skate for himself. Get well soon, Yuzu.

All this Kozuka stuff is disturbing. However, Yuzu with his stellar reputation won’t be linked to this nonsense. So not really worried. His fans know his heart, which is why he is so loved.

I understand where you’re coming from, but I think Yuzu, with his stellar reputation will be safe from this nonsense.
