Speaking of Fanyus

Thanks for the correction and I agree he is forever humble. I remember what he said in the past “we were all beginners once, never lose your humility”. Having said that popularity is temporary, I believe his records and legendary status will live on forever in the field of figure skating.

I was thinking the same. IMO I think he will repeat Origin so that he can focus on the 4A for next year. I think he will follow up with a Japanese inspired program after that whether he continues a full season or not. Those are obviously just my guesses... in the end... I’m just happy seeing him skate and will continue to be inspired by his choices.

I don’t think anyone would forget the GOAT. Unlike other skaters, he will be the bar to compare to for years to come.

I agree that unless it’s perfect at worlds he may bring it back. of course if can improve it by adding the 4A to a program he’s familiar with- he may keep it. In fact, if he really wants to pursue 4A, he may have to keep Origin so that he doesn’t worry about a near perfect/perfect FS and just add the 4A....that actually makes more sense. i would love to see improved and perfected Origin for another season.

I don’t think he’ll keep otonal, because honestly he perfected it at CoR. The only reason he kept Chopin was because he could improve it with adding two quads and a rippon. I don’t see that with Otonal. Origin may depend on how he performs at Worlds however he hasn’t repeated FS except for Olympics. I only hope that if he gets a new FS, his costume is as SPECTACULAR as Origin. .

My first time seeing the long version. Two things stand out for me. Yuzu kuyashii and successful 4loop+3A and how he can turn a competition gala into "Yuzu's ice show"

I agree with both you and @rockstaryuzu, he certainly doesn’t have any problems finding skaters to lift him at galas.

I think it makes me happy because Yuzu looks happy and it’s such a contrast to (which also makes me happy, but in a different way)

I can watch him image train all day long...

“I want to be Yuzuru Hanyu” is really catching on and making the news.
