  1. Idk why but i would cringe if it were someone else but when Yuzu does something like that, I'm like "I approve boi you deserve all the love and attention of this world. get those men to lift you. bless them boi bless them!"
  2. Who now watches other Romeo and Juliet 1.0 performances and feels weird without the fall during the stsq? its as if it was just part of the choreo haha so his jumps and falls are all part of the choreo
  3. I always get so happy to hear about how other artists are paying tribute to Yuzu. I am sure he would feel really happy to know how much he has inspired so many people in this world even outside of figure skating.
  4. To think this was nationals and scores were already somewhat "inflated" yet Yuzu was only able to get 103.10 for this near flawless performance. well its japan after all but a 46.90 pcs is unacceptable when thinking about how some skaters these days get higher for a meaningless perf anyway...please enjoy this underexposed Parisienne Walkways performance. Sochi was of course legendary but this was the making of a legend p.s. i loveee this costume on him. it showcases his golden proportion
  5. unfortunately it has a watermark there so I am unsure whether it is fantaken or not haha He was also able to skate to the programs he had wanted to skate to. He was also able to get his 4loop back within the same season after a reinjury. His success rate of landing a 4loop in competition was 2/3 if we exclude the "underrotated" one at helsinki. Landed 4T3A with 2/2 success rate (he didnt ratify his first one but thats just him). Got his 6th world medal. Won 3/4 events and podiumed 4/4. The season after the olympic is always a weird one. Zagitova coulnt escape it with 1 gold medal, Yuzu, who has 2, has been more than impressive at withholding the pressure on him. If this is what you call a bonus/filler season then its been a treat. As for that second part of COR, it was definitely a traumatic event for fanyus/sattelites but I'm glad we survived. Personally, i thought Origin at COR was still his best interpretation of the program, taking away the the mistakes and fall in the second half. if he hadnt injured, we could have seen not just a clean origin there but a perfect one that day. he was in top form the day before and you can see how much details and energy he used to attack each element even after he was injured.
  6. aside from the awful injury that sat him out of the rest of competitions and directly affected his world performances, I would say he still had a great season like he always has. antis will write off his achievements but as a fan, i couldnt be more proud of him. it isnt what on the papers or writings. its the events we witness and the journey he goes through that make all of his achievements so resounding and deserving. i mean who else could have done it but Yuzu even when all odds were against him.
  7. another way Yuzu fans can donate to. just a suggestion
  8. so happy you are making that impact even in an academic setting!
  9. LOLL I failedd at using photoshop! but Yuzu's face saves the day
  10. You're challenging me to use some photoshop now!
  11. His expression in here doesnt go along with the attire lol!
  12. I prefer my black haired Yuzu bc thats the last thing that makes him relatable. Yuzu would look even more otherworldly with colored hair! and lets cleanse Planet with my twitter poll I'm campaigning for Mr. Enrique bc he is losing and I cannot stand this pure soul losing!
  13. I love Enrique, he represents every fanyu out there. im shook he is winning
  14. this is why quads are no longer real quads and quints will probably be 4.25 rotations in the future. they set the standards. when Yuzu talked about the quad axel, its because he has been attempting it since 2015. or when he actually attempted the 4t3aseq, we know how successful it was on ice shows for years and he never even used it as a pr move. he just went and did it on the day of the practice before the competition. but today we get all kinds of pr moves when in reality their triples are even underrotated. i wish we get more of so and so is working on a new spin or working on their skating skills.
  15. what the can skaters please fix their foundation and work their way up? serious question tho is this some kind of pr move young skaters are doing to get that PCS?
  16. yeah I even tried to get my email draft translated before submitting to them. I think one of the reasons could be ice rink does not really organize charity in the first place. we only know they are hugely funded by Yuzu over the past couple of years so we feel inspired to do the same. I feel like getting them to actually organize some kind of charity for us to donate might be difficult.
  17. @Veveco and I have each contacted playground and ice rink for a while now but have not heard anything back. do you think we should look into other international charity instead?
  18. yayy thanks for giving it a listen. ohh yeah i love joe haisaishi music. have always wanted him to skate to prince kaguya, princess mononoke or howls moving castle
  19. I think he had a bit more of a lean during the competition than the one in practice and judges took it as an opportunity to give him lower GOE. well its always been that way but i get why he might want to "play it safe" with the back counter entry. but even so its not rewarded as it should so just screw the judges hahaa
  20. my bundle of joy, my only sunshinee 😭😭😭 ---- I really miss this twizzle 3a. the quality can rival the back counter 3a at olympic. it hits every note in and out of the jump. i hope he will bring it back at least in exhibition
  21. I don't know what Yuzu wants. Maybe he might feel like he wants to accumulate more happiness = more achievements, but it might not necessarily mean his double olympic gold medals aren't enough for him. One thing I do know is to many of his fans, they are enough and that a 4A is only a bonus. The point is, if people can't acknowledge that he has already transcended the sport with everything he has done and contributed thus far, it's something a 4A or a 3rd gold medal can't solidify. I'm not saying landing a 4A is not a good thing, in fact, I pray day and night Yuzu could land it since it's declared as his goal to achieve. But for me, without it, it's fine. And if you disagree, fair enough. I think we can only agree to disagree. I guess the reason is because you mentioned "not the first since 66 years or 90 years but ever" that's why I brought up the fact that Dick Button wasn't the first ever to become the double olympic champion yet he even his legendary status persisted. People don't even remember who's the first to win 3 OGM ever. People remember Dick Button because of his dominance and other achievements. Yet even so, when you compare him to Yuzu, he competed during the post world war era when the field was pretty much very shallow. So the reason what makes Yuzu's OGM so great isn't simply because it's the first time in 66 years or whatnot. It's because this "first" actually has a lot more meaning to it. He skated during a very competitive era where the field is so deep and him not having support from his own fed. So that's what makes it so powerful, not just because of the whole "first in 66 years" title. If a skater just does something for the sake of "first" without giving meaning to that "first" with his or her skating, it means nothing. I guess that's my point. I get that you think a quad axel isn't something to be replicated easily so that's a fair point. But looking at today's way of scoring, if someone with 3.25 rotations in the air could be considered a quadster than maybe the first to land a quint might only get as much as 4.25 rotations. If we're talking about an exclusive group of men with multiple OGM, he's already separated himself by being better in every aspect of skating and dominating an era during the most competitive field. If we're talking about those without an OGM, well he's already got the 2 OGM to secure even without the 4a. But most importantly, it is because he is the kind of skater he is that truly makes him different. I'm still of the opinion that he doesn't need a 4A to prove anything else, yet of course, if he is able to acquire a meaningful 4A, it will add to his happiness and more to the skating history itself. Let's agree on this.
