Those who haven't been watching the World Cup (with us here too!) probably missed the Japan-Poland game where Japan played the last 15 minutes in such a way that even the manager ended up apologizing publicly at the end. It was a bit of a mess. Anyway Kozuka compared Yuzuru's PC tactics with those. Obviously one doesn't have anything to do with the other, and it's an unfortunate thing to use for comparing but Kozuka doesn't mean any harm, he's a nice lad, just a bit air-headed at times. It's unintentional but I'm glad Kiyozuka Shinya also said it's not comparable.

I think it's too difficult for her, at least that's what I'm getting here. She also used to do a pure Lz without the tano, way back even with Eteri and it was a better version so I'd strip it all. And yes, yesterday she did a 2Lz per reports and it was, or so they say, a proper Lz. But. How much can we believe the reports is another thing. It's why I really wanted to see it, as it would have told us where she might be but I think we can assume they're working on it all right. It takes a lot of time though, so we'll see. She has some 9 weeks to Russian test skates and looking at the S and the Lo, she's fully back now (unlike at FaOI where she was still quite heavy). The S especially looks good.

Yes, I'd say she is working on it. Tbh I'd ditch both the tano and the loop entry. It'd be easier for her. I am still sad we didn't get to see the double from yesterday because it may have given us a better picture.

I can't wait to see the assignments too. It's really going to be something, this Junior season. Tbh, more than anything, I want to see where Kosto is. I have this half-fear that Anna S will get more room due to the quad but guess we have to wait. I don't know if Daniil would have posted any 4T attempts by Kosto if she had succeeded so for the moment, I'm thinking she's only bringing the 3A. I mean one never knows but better safe than destroyed hopes.

IOC is so not going to go for that though. In general, ISU had quite a bit of work to have them accept ID as an actual sport. I think what they're proposing is going to send IOC running for the hills. They are not keen on having even more complaints about either skating not being a real sport, or complaints about fixes, and both of these would be like mushrooms if they went for this 'artistry' thing they are suggesting.

The Piano is one of my favorite things so all I can say is go Kaori! Mai's choice is not really my kind of music so I'm not too thrilled but I will say that I actually think it's a good choice for Mai herself. It suits her really well, she can perform the heck out of that so I totally understand why she chose it.
