  1. Oh, so now we're part of his experiment on "IG watering", soon to be published in his book of "How to Grow and Maintain Cacti"?
  2. Well it seems that a lone M sized shirt , all alone, not duplicated in any other order, managed to get through.
  3. Min I feel like we need to create an HMV FAQ or something. This is weird. Ah, I know what happened...I had 3 shirts of the same size...blah. That might be why.
  4. My question too...I think the number of fans in China alone can probably buy out that many. Well, if we go over the amount they need to raise for the parade, could they not donate the rest to the Tohoku reconstruction funds? o_O
  5. Same....my credit card company tried to call me about the order too. Was it due to that clause about charge for any changes in shipping price?
  6. Haha....do I dare ask my rinkmates if anyone wants a shirt? *waits to be killed by credit card* But life of a fanyu= buying stuff that are not classic "necessities." Still have no idea what to do with another T-shirt...
  7. Yep it's all re-stocked, go get em! *grumbles about paying city taxes, and then goes and spends money on a city she doesn't live in-yep patriotic I am*
  8. Wish they also sold the bands online. Have enough random T-shirts as it is, but still have empty wrists for wristbands. Maybe they're re-stocking? I mean, the current list on HMV is set to release on Apr 20.
  9. *starts flipping through contacts to see who is still in JPN and would be nice enough to buy a truckload* Is it really sold out? I can still add it to my cart. o_O
  10. ....well if he has to get a scrunchie, he'd be Ponytail!Zu, or possibly Man-bun!Zu.
  11. Well if you're a mushroom why would you get a haircut? I think it's more they just can't be bothered...precious time away from training/gaming/manga-reading? Nothing a hair pin and a scrunchie can't fix! *As a short-hair peep, I'm also guilty as charged of having my hair grow out too long before I even notice I need a haircut.
  12. My guess is "age" of the competitions. Nebelhorn has been here since 1969 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nebelhorn_Trophy). Golden Spin of Zagreb since 1967 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Spin_of_Zagreb). Rest such as Finlandia, Ondrej Nepala have been with the GP series since early 1990's, while others such as ACI, US Classic etc listed in the Challenger Series wikipedia page, are all post 2008. For ACI/US Classic, I guess it's to balance out how all the other Challenger cup series are in Europe.
  13. Maybe mom's on vacation/holiday/taking it easy, and he just decided to forget it/not go to barber/going to barber is too mendokusaii~
  14. Again, a HUGE HUGE thank you to @gladi! Well...guess we have to hold on to our hair/wigs for at least one more season, the boy's not done with us yet. So this is what CiONTU is-step one of the master plan. Interesting-a school of legends for figure skating, well where do I have my hypothetical future-skating-super-star-child-that-is-yet-unborn sign up? Hanyu style jumps, with Lambiel-style spins, and maybe he can persuade Pchiddy to come in for the SS?
  15. Honestly, we can probably all watch him do nothing but single jumps and gliding/stroking exercises for 2 hours and be perfectly fine. *there's a video somewhere of a single lutz by him, need to add to jump tech reference collection* Speaking of which, have we ever seen him do a single salchow, loop or flip jump-one that was not a popped jump?
  16. Hmm...regarding sit spins...I'm not sure how to describe it without using a video, but usually my rinkmate and I actually enter the spin in a much lower position. Even though his entry is a bit more similar to yours-he tries to center via forward scratch first before going down into sit spin. I actually have my skating leg bent a lot more (maybe already at 120 degrees) and try to get to less than 90 within 1 revolution.
  17. Hmm, not really. I think ACI would probably still remain, it's been held for several years. It's just an issue of whether US will fight for that spot.
  18. No Lombardia this season? Did the scores freak out even the ISU last time?
  19. *looks at all these pro-tours headlines and stuff and twitter filled with music suggestions* Hmmm....I guess off-season started a bit different this year. o_O

The move I miss the most is the little mazurka hop/jump he does in the original steps. I'm not sure why but I love that little hop even more than the back cross-rolls. Yes it's easy, but the lift that is achieved in that tiny little hop, and how he twists so the landing perfectly flows and aligns with the remaining steps, is very pretty, very dainty, and well done.
  21. Not just that, think about how much energy he burns per day. Seriously, when I was 13, and skating 2-3 hours a day, I could probably eat a burger and fries and soda, go practice, and come out demanding another big Mac meal. At some point my mom calculated that in summer, when practicing I was burning over 2000 calories per day, and I was probably half Yuzu's size and weight, only jumping singles and practicing spins.
  22. It's an issue of relevancy- quads are relevant, razors not so much since he really doesn't have anything to shave (how long does it take him to even grow a small fuzz?). But Yuzu does need to learn from all these CMs. The boy wants to have a family of his own one day, so Yuzu, just think of it as training for that distant future when: a) he needs to wash baby clothes when his SO is too tired and burned out b) he has to warm the milk for the baby at 3 am *has an image of Dad Yuzu with an powder blue apron and 3 kids dangling off the strings* Okay, even here, I'm not sure how to make razor's relevant, unless he suddenly starts growing more fuzz...
  23. Or his cooking experience-does microwave usage count?
  24. There isn't that much information floating around, but I don't get the impression is family is that rich or well off. Consider that his mother made a lot of his costumes up to the time he did Etude. And his sister also stopped skating (though I don't recall if it was for financial reasons). His entire family is very...ninja-like.
  25. I have to ask though, growing up as a child and playing piano/singing in choir, and being remotely serious about it, pop music drove me nuts. My ears could not stand it, especially if I heard anything remotely off-key. So given his sensitive hearing, how does he stand jpop? Granted, the stuff he listens to isn't exactly metallic or hard rock, but compared to say Chopin, it's a bit more scratchy and rough. As for his blades-what I remember from ACI practice was when gliding around, you just cannot hear the sound of his or Javi's blades, not just jumps, but overall it's silent or very neat and tidy. Other guys had audible scratchy landings, and even clean landings had some noise when viewed live. Even on the ladies side, you would be hard pressed to hear Tursynbaeva's blades. So it's not just him, it's probably more TCC skating skills at work. Even when going into very deep edges, that "cruching" sound isn't that present-they seriously just float on the ice. And in Javi's case, I just remember that Paramount blades (which I think he wears) was noted to be noisy by my skate/blade fitter.
