Mr Minoru Sano says he knows Hanyu can jump 4A because his arms are so open when he jumps 3A so it's just matter of closing them. He also says he thinks it will only take him a year.

I think it's pointing out how calm and controlled he is with time limits. Instead of rushing to tie his shoes when he was told that there was only 20 seconds until they were on the air, he saw it as having plenty of time and that he didn't need to rush? (I could be off the mark. Maybe it took him precisely that amount of time?)

I thought he looked best walking out of it. Hair was more relaxed, make-up still there but not so OTT. Should have rushed him right back and started again. (Or maybe no make-up at all. I can't tell with him. )
