  1. I wonder what I did to deserve a mention. It’s a mistake, right? Here’s my uneducated opinion, anyway. Yes yes yes! I like this sort of music, too. Fantastic for step sequences and JButt would be all over it. I can see Yuzu really losing himself in the quieter sections, too. The only one I didn’t much like is the third one because it sounds a bit to “Hollywood” for me. Shae would be wonderful for this, too. She has such a sensitivity for other cultures. I couldn’t believe SEIMEI wasn’t choreographed by a Japanese skater at first and her Riverdance is one of the only versions I’ve seen that really captures the spirit of Irish dancing. I’d really be interested to see Shae and JButt collaborate on something like this, too, though I don’t know if they’d be able to. I’d love to see Yuzu take on Riverdance one day - he has the soul and the power for it - but any rhythmic music like this would be a delight. As for splicing, I wonder if there are other albums or soundtracks that you could use to add a few more highlights? I didn’t find the singing distracting but it doesn’t have the drama to make it stand out, either. I think being a soundtrack it sort of has that problem of being an accompaniment to dynamic imagery rather than standing out on its own. Anyway, now I have a new dream to add to the pile of music choices. (And how sparkly and fiery and gem-like would his costume be for this? Ahhh!) I’ll give it another, less rushed listen later.
  2. The only thing that will work is if they promise to release FaOI nyan-fest if you all pass.
  3. Should have immortalised Yuzu and Shoma’s wedding ceremony.
  4. I'm still so angry. I don't think I'll ever get over it. They have the footage! GIVE US THE DAMN FOOTAGE! I am so happy to be alive. No u r.
  5. Quads are as hard as answering a question about how hard quads are.
  6. It's another one of Mitz Mangrove's FS discussions with FS legends. I wonder what her Yuzu-inspired dress will be this time. ETA Guests Honda Takeshi Sano Minoru Okabe Yukiko Miyamoto Kenji Noguchi Yoshie
  7. I would say they probably danced how they skate. Learning ballet doesn't mean you have any particular talent for it.
  8. I know. Even at NHK, watching other skaters I don't care much for fall was so scary with his injury fresh in my mind that I couldn't enjoy it. How did any of our hearts survive that terrifying 3lz in Pyeongchang? And that was before he came out about not having recovered. I hope he does the right thing and goes straight back to rehab. I feel too exhausted after all this turmoil to fly around the world anyway. Important gif. A++
  9. Geezus, poor Orser-kochi. Somebody tell Zu to quit it with the 4A talk for awhile, seriously.
  10. We are making very sensible and adult life choices.
  11. I feel like an alternate, training in case I have to jump on a plane last minute yet knowing the effort is most likely for nothing. I'm so not ready. ETA OT I miss your old twirly soft sig. v_v
  12. Surely they won't wait that long this time and risk abandoning people on another continent.
  13. They will announce based on his decision, I'm sure. I doubt they'll force him with how frankly he's been talking about his injury.
  14. I'm so screwed... hurry up and announce it already.
  15. I just feel that putting it on social media, though addressed to Yuzu, wasn't for Yuzu to read... it could have been sent as another private text.
  16. I am suddenly intensely interested in soccer. Can this be a new thing, please?
  17. (It makes me uncomfortable to read about a private exchange like that, especially when Yuzu goes to such lengths to keep things private himself.)
  18. I spit my drink when I first saw this. No one else even has 1:1 ratio. All can do is laugh at such mastery. Ahhh... how I wish I could have seen it with my own eyes...
  19. プーさん and プルさん. It was meant to be.
  20. Very basic summary: Skating is hard, he wanted to quit a bunch of times, it’s hard being away from his family, he’s greatful for everyone’s support, etc etc. He ends thanking coaches and choreographers, as we’ve heard. It’s not much to translate so I’m sure a kind person will tackle the task very soon.
