IIRC, in pairs, Mishkuteniuk/Dmitriev kept their short program for a few years.. it was awesome.... so yeah, it does happen and if skated cleanly an old program certainly has its advantages. Confidence in performance being a major one...

Under pressure, figure out what feels good.. and you know, with Jeff there, they can figure out additional choreo pieces and steps on the fly, if they so choose. Now that it's almost certain, I'm going to say go whole hog and get back into the Chopin mindset, Yuzu. Out Chopin, your Chopin.

I noticed also that both javi and Yuzu are rehashing.... Brian did that between 1987-88 and kept his sp for Calgary... it was successful for him, so maybe it's what he suggests for skaters who are under immense amounts of pressure.

I think it would be good to hear from Yuzu himself about his programs. I'm sure he's now aware/or will be aware that his fans are in a tizzy, so at some point when he's interviewed or on a show or something, hopefully he'll say something about them.
