I did not know CM either. In N.America we just call them commercials. I admit to not finding H/L music overly appealing, but many dislike LGC, so taste is taste. I do not mind Brian's comments. A subtle program needs to be perfect to achieve the full and maximum effect, it has always been that way in skating no matter who skates, and when Yuzu delivered it, all questions were answered.

I agree about the music cuts for step sequence and choreo steps. Those were my favourites...and made the program, imho. I was just too tired to write more about my specific preferences considering we have no confirmation of anything. He could keep those sections in a heart beat.

He is fitting in all the tv stuff he needs to get done .... good. Soon will be faoi again and then ninja will disappear for training... As for Seimei 2.0.... if it is the same program etc., I admit to some disappointment because it feels like we go back 2 years... but if it has some new music from the film, with new choreography, then that would still be a new program. I think he should introduce it by another name if it is a sequel. Psychologically it would differentiate the 2 and that would be smart so that judges/media etc., do not perceive it as another repeat and put it in a negative light before he even skates it. Anyway, he will do what he feels he has to do to achieve his goal and Seimei has far more unfinished business than Chopin. I really do not care so much anymore about a new program as long as his material is strong and allows him to skate his best with confidence. We all want him to get that gold.

Oh, I have definitely hated some of them... wondering what the heck is THAT supposed to be??? Love the boy, but not gonna lie... for some of those outfits he needs respect for just having the balls to wear them.

I hope that Yuzu is fulfilling his commercial responsibilities during his off time between show weekends. I want him to be able to stay in Toronto and focus on training and not have to fly back to Japan once Faoi is over. It makes sense to get all that done now. For other people I would hope for a few days holiday, but it's yuzu so....

Good luck to him, showing us the improved Chopin. While the layout may make the BV higher, I await his version of a better performed Ballade because to me already every note was hit to perfection. He likes challenges... so go ahead, improve upon perfection, yuzu. And may it be on the biggest stages...

He seems to go out of his way to reassure people how much he loves and misses Japan... even saying he does not want to travel other places and only wants to be home. He is very conscious of the fact it may be perceived negatively that he trains overseas. she is jyst dissing him in any way she can.

I think he would have to do it at gpf too.... gain real momentum. I firmly believe his 2013 gpf sp set him up for the Olys and established him as major contender. We already know he is one now, but he has to keep the young ones from doing what he did 4 yrs ago.

I was thinking parts of the program did not quite fit the music perfectly either, but didnt want to say it. I do not want to say it is because we know the old one so well, but that could be the reason. I am not worried, though, because I think 3.0 is still a work in progress and it will become more its own program with time. Right now I am still in comparing mode.

In a way, it's almost a dare to the judges. We know how it was scored when he skated it cleanly before, so with layout changes and upgrades it has to be at least the same score as before if performed to the same level. How could they give it less if it is skated as well this time? It's like trying to guarantee a minimum score, lol.

I will be fully behind the Chopin number again..especially if there's some new choreo/steps, costume... just so that it feels fresh. I don't want it to always be compared to the perfection that was already achieved, and i especially don't want the judges to do that. Bottom Line: Whatever it takes for him to feel comfortable and compete well... use any advantage you can.

that's the off season... we'll grasp anything, anything at all and hold on with all our might in the hopes we get a scrap of info.... and then we get the scrap...

I think I added to my post count more here in this breakfast show commentary than in the entire month or so of PH existing!!! but, I learned a guy got arrested for weed possession, a golfer unexpectedly r****d, vitamins come in pouches with little cartoon kids on the front, there is a car chase, trump says something at the G7, people walked the red carpet at Cannes... so much to know!!
