Not gonna lie, when I heard it was a tribute to Plush's Nijinski, I was very dismayed.... same with Johnny's Otonal..... neither guy is a favourite of mine and i didnt like Plush's Nijinski. BUT, then I remembered these are HIS programs, not theirs, and choreographed by trusted choreos....and they are HIS favourite skaters, which is what matters.... so I made my peace!! I look forward to what will be amazing programs, because they are what HE chose and wants to do. 3 weeks......

I am not a big fan of Plushenko or his Nijinsky program but if Yuzuru wants to devote a season to his idols I look forward to it. He is a far better skater and I am sure what he and his choreographers have come up with will exceed expectations. 3 weeks....

Waiting, waiting...... my dream was tango, which I would not mind.... but I seriously doubt that it is.....

They picked a good day. It is cool outside. We have had 40C humidex temperatures this week... which would have been rough for outside interviews etc.

Oh darn, I am at the cottage and only have my tablet... it doesn't give me instagram videos, twitter clips..... of all the times..... it is funny, as I was driving through Toronto to get here I looked south and thought, hmmm, wonder what TCC is doing!!

I hope SG wont be hyped too much. Yes, they are talking about him but Brian made it very clear in the article that he has yet to grow and things change when that happens..... the thing is that in almost every discipline our stars have retired and we are looking for future stars and they haven't really shown who they are yet, apart from SG. I hope others hurry up and start showing results so that he can stay out of the limelight. Pressure can be crippling... Yuzu is willowy. That is fine with me, no negative connotations with that description.... I think mentally he is an oak, however, lol. I dreamt Yuzu was doing a piazzola tango as a program..... basically 3 weeks until ACI..... countdown is on.....

And while they do have their own personalities on the ice, so many of their moves in their step sequences, transitions and spins are very similar. YOu can tell an Eteri girl before she has even started to jump just from the moves in the program in general. I wish they had their own choreographers... or branched out a bit more anyway.

I was never a big fan of B/K... yes, I"m a bad Canadian... I was far more into the R/J of A/P and disliked the Canadian media going on and on about Riverdance. It made me feel like a traitor that i preferred other teams. Yes, it was entertaining, but I think my dislike of Shae as a skater probably had a lot to do with it... however, giving us Seimei has gone a long way towards me appreciating her more... And I wonder if Yuzu has chosen her again this year for his free program... time will tell....

More and more reasons for me to be happy I got ACI tickets Basically a month to go... longest month ever, I think, though.... Glad Anna P is doing Frida. Very glad Brian is going with Yuzu to J Nats. I had a feeling he would.. just... because. I still think Yuzu is his first priority and will be with him when needed the most. Med will do fine in Russia no matter what coach is with her from TCC.

I didn't 100% believe that Yuzu had won until after Shoma's marks. I mean, I thought he'd done enough to win with that big score... but I've watched skating since the 80s... and I've seen some crazy stuff happen at Olys... it's harder to make the crazy stuff happen with the points system, but I will always have that little bit of doubt ... I was afraid to believe he'd actually done it even though I knew that the fall on the loop by Shoma pretty much meant it was over...

I could live with this, happily.

OMG. I can hardly wait until the *bigger* competitions start.... if PCS are all over the map, seriously, will TPTB realize this could be entertaining, and not in a good way? I can hardly wait for +5s on jumps an inch off the ice and quads on one foot at best .... (depending on who you are).... but I could be waaay wrong and the judges *got this*

Guys, this is nothing compared to the spring/summer of 2016.... after leaving Boston there was virtually nothing for months... he was in his cave a loooooooong time. Remember: good things come to those who wait.

My cheap tickets would be even more worth it... and they are already worth it, knowing I"ll be seeing new programs....no matter how he performs them....

I was also wondering who else went under the scissors from TCC today, lol. It is transformational tuesday, after all. Jason looks great, Gabrielle's now colour looks cool... I have wanted Med to get her hair cut for a very long time..... she could pull off an Audrey Hepburn little short do, I think... it's cute to imagine a group visit to the salon for the day, lol!! Perm for Yuzu!!!

I watched it. I had 90 minutes to sit and watch them blab, apparently, lol!! But, I totally forget what he said about Yuzu... and i watched the video only an hour ago... holy short term memory loss, Batman.

I would definitely say TCC is the better training facility, with better coaches and everything that is needed to improve what Boyang lacks. There is no question in my mind about that. But, if he does not want to move then forcing him to go would not get results. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. I have no doubt he will continue to improve, he has done so every year... but will the rate of improvement be what he needs to overcome nathan, shoma? Time will tell. 4 years is 4 years.

I was surprised that both Tracy and brian went together and both posted about their flight... it was unusually public, and the nice seating arrangements.... I also sniffed the air and smelled something going on here....

Not replying for a month at a time? I've got that beat. I don't respond to friends for months at a time... it just... happens that way... they all accept it. true friends, lol.

Canada geese... scary and vicious sometimes. There is a university that actually posts where their nesting sites are on campus because they will chase/attack students coming too close... definitely mother bear types at nesting time and with little babies, lol. I am afraid of geese in general.....

Marisa Yoda? I will support anyone named Yoda (huge star wars fan here)..... such a cool name to have....

So were these pictures of him off of Tcc property? If so, then yes, that is annoying and bothersome and really ticks me off. Unfortunately, everything about him physically, plus that added 2nd gold that has elevated his fame, combined with almost nothing known publicly about his private life (despite him saying repeatedly he lives quietly in Toronto) , will really heighten interest in him and could make it worth it to follow him around here. In a time where people find it necessary to post what they ate for breakfast, his lack of connection must drive the papps crazy.... if they were to spot him doing *anything* away from the rink and not involving skating? gold for them. I hope it is just a one time thing and if not, let Toronto have a cold winter to keep the papps away....
