I wonder when an announcement will be made about the Challenger series Japanese participation. We expect to hear the GP assignments at the end of this week so I presume they will be after? Last year it was around now that Japan released that info, but iirc, the GP assignments were earlier dt olys.... or maybe they wont even annouce them this early since it isnt an olympic year.... just curious....

I agree , FaOI was better than makuhari... I think it was last year too. And I like this Cherry program as his ex for this year.... which hopefully means his long and short are totally different in style. I like seeing his versatility.

I love her. I hope she gets well from her illness and can find somewhere stable to train when and if she's ready to do so. She and Kostornaia are my favourite Eteri girls.. basically total opposites, yet I love them both.

Lol. Listen to any group of Team Canada hockey players singing the anthem after a win and, well, it ain't pretty on the ears.... but we love their enthusiasm!!!! Not sure how yuzu would honestly sound... but he's pretty and skates *half decently* so I can deal with it, lol.

But javi wont't be there so much....:( all sad...It will not be the same...

Yes, i do not like that they are re using music, but who knows what Eteri is doing...... it would not surprise me if she loved that music, or is making some kind of point... or not. And havent they recycled before? Didnt Med use music/choreo that was intended for Julia? Guess they dont want to waste a program and give it to the next favourite....

Sad Kaetlyn is skipping. I understand taking time off, so I hope it is just the GP series....just when she was figuring out how to compete successfully under pressure at big events too... and getting love from the judges, which may not last forever.... anyway, hope she tries to defend her world title. That is such a big deal.

Well, I imagine a 2 year old's party will not last long and you can skip out early if need be... or you can develop a nasty cold or stomach bug that you certainly do not want to pass on to the little one....I am or may not be admitting to that tactic myself, hehe.....

Great news for Boyang. I can already see a curve of improvement far greater than what will happen with Med just because he is more raw talent with a whole side to develop while she is very close to her maximum in many areas. I bet Tracy is itching to get him into her skating skills class!!! I remember an interview with Brian where he figured he'd retire from coaching after Beijing.... you know, I seriously doubt it. There are no signs of slowing down, just ramping it up!!! Well, success breeds success and wow, what an environment now at TCC.

Geez, everyone is invited to TCC for summer camp.... (Kolyada, why you go California? Lol. ?)...and then up to Brian's cottage for cottage country ice show and then jumps off the dock, lol!!!! And then the girls who have visited so far: karen chen, mai mihara, wakaba higuchi.... medvedeva wants full term.....probably more have been there too... Yuzu, everyone wants to play in your backyard, er, skating rink!!

So, when did the Boyang at TCC thing happen?
